Este recorrido lo lleva más allá de los típicos lugares turísticos para revelar la verdadera alma del Algarve. El guía turístico se compromete a brindar experiencias auténticas e inmersivas que le permitan conectarse con comunidades locales como los maestros del cobre y los tejedores de Loulé y los vendedores de Olhão. Cada una de estas tres ciudades tiene su propio carácter y patrimonio cultural. En Loulé, retrocederás en el tiempo mientras paseas por las encantadoras calles adoquinadas del casco antiguo. Olhão, por otro lado, es un pueblo pesquero con un patrimonio único, reflejado en su arquitectura y tradiciones culinarias. Faro, la capital del Algarve, ofrece una combinación de encanto histórico y vitalidad contemporánea.

Ubicada en el corazón del Algarve, la pintoresca ciudad de Loulé desprende un encanto que captura la esencia del campo del Algarve. Visitaremos el Mercado Municipal de Loulé, uno de los mejores ejemplos del estilo revivalista árabe: las calles del casco antiguo de Loulé con sus casas tradicionales y donde verá al maestro del cobre trabajando su tradicional cataplana y otros artículos, las damas locales tejiendo palma enana. hojas de árboles, cosiendo y uniendo cada rama, produciendo multitud de objetos diferentes: bolsos, capazos, cestas y objetos más tradicionales o innovadores. - La tradicional calle comercial adoquinada.
La arquitectura única de Olhão crea un panorama urbano particular. Una de las características más emblemáticas de Olhão es su red de casas de estilo cubista. Estas estructuras cubistas muestran el espíritu artístico de la ciudad y su enfoque único de la arquitectura. La primera parada de nuestro recorrido es el mercado municipal. Ubicado a lo largo del paseo marítimo, este edificio destaca entre las casas blancas con sus paredes de ladrillo rojo y sus cúpulas verdes. Hay dos secciones: una con frutas y verduras y productos secos locales, y otra dedicada exclusivamente a pescados y mariscos, como almejas, mejillones y ostras. Caminaremos hasta el centro de la ciudad por las calles tradicionales donde encontrará edificios tradicionales portugueses con sus tradicionales azulejos y balcones de hierro y también verá las casas cubistas.

¡Bienvenido a Faro, la capital de nuestra impresionante región del Algarve! Nuestro recorrido lo llevará en un viaje cautivador a través de esta encantadora ciudad, conocida por su historia, hermosos paisajes y vibrante cultura. Nuestra primera parada es en el corazón de Faro, el Casco Antiguo. Visitaremos la Catedral de Faro, una estructura religiosa gótica que ofrece una mirada al pasado y vistas panorámicas de la ciudad desde la terraza de la azotea del Campanario. Como Faro también alberga el hermoso Parque Natural de Ría Formosa, un área protegida con diversos ecosistemas, marismas y una gran cantidad de especies de aves, desde lo alto de la Catedral podemos admirar esa hermosa vista. Nuestro recorrido nos llevará luego al Arco da Vila, una de las entradas de la antigua ciudad. Durante nuestra visita a Faro, tendrás la oportunidad de pasar por las tradicionales calles comerciales y pasear por las calles adoquinadas.

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days with Johnny. He arrived every morning at our hotel on time and always happy. He made sure we saw all the most important places but also allowed for us to customize our daily tours. As a local and having grown up in the Algarves,, Johnny's history is invaluable. What a fabulous day Johnny lined for us! We chose a private tour due to our limited time in the Algarve region. We rate tours based on 1) communication, 2) itinerary, 3) information, 4) organization and 5) pricing. The communication was great. We were notified and reminded of the pick up time. Johnny asked what we wanted to do and see. He interjected several stops that proved to be interesting, so our itinerary included a visit to local artisans, including a coppersmith and a basket weaver. We visited the local markets in Loulé and in Olhão. The churches and cathedrals we visited were breathtaking! And all that time Johnny was explaining the history of, the customs, the traditions of each place. The pricing was agreed upon up front. At the end of the day, we felt we certainly got our money’s worth. To have a tour guide put so much enthusiasm and pride in the Algarve and Portugal made this tour very special and meaningful. Johnny Tours is one of the best company I have ever had the pleasure to tour with. Joao is very friendly, professional and kind. His transport is brand new and comfortable. Johnny organized a 23 person all day tour that took us to Loule , Tavira , the Quinta da Tor winery and a few other stops. It was very good value for our money , a good time was had by all and Johnny and his cohort Nelson are both affable and knowledgeable guides. We also had used Johnny’s tours to arrange transport for the majority of our group from Lisbon to the Rocha Brava resort and a smaller group transport from The resort to Seville, Spain I would highly recommend this company for any trips you’re considering
