Itinerario del tour 1️⃣ Castillo de Lekuresi Nuestro primer destino es el Castillo Lekuresi, una llamativa fortaleza que data del siglo XVI. Construido en forma cuadrada con dos torres redondas colocadas diagonalmente, el castillo ofrece vistas panorámicas de Saranda, el mar Jónico y la cercana isla griega de Corfú. 2️⃣ El ojo azul (Syri i Kaltër) A continuación, visitaremos el Blue Eye Spring, una de las maravillas naturales más cautivadoras de Albania. El agua cristalina burbujea desde lo profundo de la tierra, creando un fascinante “ojo” azul intenso rodeado de exuberante vegetación. Parque Nacional Butrint Nuestra última parada es el Parque Nacional Butrint, Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, que muestra capas de historia de civilizaciones antiguas. Aquí explorarás: El teatro romano El templo de Asclepio El acueducto Iglesia bizantina Pasear por el parque se siente como viajar en el tiempo, desde el período helenístico hasta las épocas romana y bizantina, todo en medio de un tranquilo paisaje natural.

El castillo se encuentra en una colina estratégica que domina la ciudad de Saranda, al sureste del centro de la ciudad. Desde aquí se puede controlar todo el pueblo y las islas de Ksamil.
Buthrotum era una antigua ciudad griega y más tarde romana y obispado en Epiro. Habitada desde tiempos prehistóricos, Buthrotum era una ciudad de la tribu griega de los Chaonians, más tarde una colonia romana y un obispado. Habitada desde tiempos prehistóricos, Butrint ha sido el sitio de una colonia griega, una ciudad romana y un obispado. Después de un período de prosperidad bajo la administración bizantina, luego de una breve ocupación por parte de los venecianos, la ciudad fue abandonada a finales de la Edad Media después de que se formaran marismas en la zona. El sitio arqueológico actual es un depósito de ruinas que representa cada período en el desarrollo de la ciudad.
La belleza de un denso bosque verde mezclado con las aguas cristalinas de los manantiales. También muy interesante la presencia de un insecto raro llamado "La libélula azul". El Ojo Azul (albanés: Syri i kaltër) es un manantial de agua, fenómeno natural que ocurre en Sarande, Albania. Una popular atracción turística, el agua azul clara del río brota de una impresionante piscina de más de cincuenta metros de profundidad. Los buzos han descendido a cincuenta metros, pero aún no está claro cuál es la profundidad real del agujero kárstico.

We were on a Seabourn cruise and the on board shore excursions only include 2 of the 3 major things to see during our stop. Instead of settling for 2 we searched out for a private tour that would take us to all 3 locations. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Easy to communicate with once we arrived in port, prompt pickup and a fantastic tour. Een include front row parking at the sites. Upon return our tour guide recommended a wonderful restaurant on the beach and then we had a short walk back to the ship. Awesome experience.

It was a bit chaotic when we got there but our driver knew how to get us to the front. The water colour is just breathtaking . There are a few short walks along the banks of the water too, which are so peaceful, even with the people there. The water is very cold!
We took a trip to Albania from Corfu and booked this excursion and Butrint on our ferry on the way over,The colours and clarity of the water is amazing. We were told it was safe to drink the water so we tried it. It was cool refreshing and tasted good. It is a place which deserve to be visited, for sure

If you are in Saranda try this amazing experience... Blue Eye 👁 was a magical place ( cold , blurred water) Butrint National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Albanian’s most important archeological sites. Lekursi Castle offers you a panoramic view from above the city
