This was a fantastic tour. A small group (in our case, only 4 people), with a brilliant guide who shared a lot of information and history of the area and the glacier, and talked us through how the caves are formed, the different colours etc. She was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the subject. There were quite a few groups inside the cave, many who seemed more interested in selfies than in the caves themselves, but our guide took us to lesser populated chambers and found some quiet spots. Highly recommend!! (I only wish i could remember our guides name! Katrina perhaps? Sorry!!)
Amazing tour! Our guide Karolina was perfect! Smart, friendly and had answers to all of our questions. She also took some great photos for us! The cave was just beautiful, unreal blue/green colors of ice, and luckily it wasn't crowded so we got plenty of time to look around and take photos. :) After the tour we got some included tomato soup (it was delicious) and hot beverage in Frost restaurant. Would definitely recommend booking them! 🫶🏻
Catalina, the only female guide, was amazing. We had been to the ice cave with a different agency and accidently booked the same one with this company. Catalina asked how she can make the tour a 2nd time great for us. She went over the history of the glacier, history of Iceland. She showed us spots to go after. Her love and enthusiasm for the ice cave and Iceland really shows in her tours. She made the tour amazing.
