Uno de los lugares de peregrinación religiosa más importantes de Tailandia es Wat Saket, que se traduce como la Montaña Dorada. Este templo de la ladera presenta un reluciente chedi dorado que se cree que contiene una reliquia del mismo Buda. Se puede rastrear hasta el período Ayutthaya, lo que significa que podría tener hasta 800 años.
También conocido como el Templo del Buda Reclinado, este es uno de los monumentos más grandes e impresionantes de Bangkok. Nos maravillaremos ante la estatua de Buda de 46 metros hecha completamente de pan de oro antes de explorar los atractivos terrenos. We just did the Bangkok: Wat Pho and Wat Arun Guided Walking Tour (booking No. 41HFOBDSF6LY) with Pranee aka Nina and it was spectacular. The temples were absolutely beautiful and Pranee explain and show us the beauty of these temples and she e palin the history and art behind them!
