Descubra la famosa región vinícola de Kajetia en Georgia en una excursión de un día completo desde Tbilisi con catas de vinos de primera calidad, cultura local, lugares de interés histórico y hermosas vistas. El horario de la reunión es de 10:30–10:45 AM, con salida a las 11:00 AM desde el Monumento a la Bicicleta Gigante. Nuestros guías llevan bufandas rojas para facilitar su identificación. Disfrute de degustaciones de vinos y brandy en el almacén KTW, seguidas de más catas de vinos en la bodega local de Vineria, donde los huéspedes también pueden disfrutar del almuerzo tradicional georgiano (opcional, con cargo adicional). Visite Badiauri Village para degustar Churchkhela y un taller opcional de panificación (extra 5 GEL). Explore el tranquilo monasterio de Bodbe, la romántica “Ciudad del Amor” de Sighnaghi, la histórica Muralla de Sighnaghi y disfrute de una parada al atardecer en Kajetia. La visibilidad del atardecer depende de las condiciones climáticas. Regreso a Tbilisi alrededor de las 10 :00 PM dependiendo del tráfico.

It's a very nice way to discover a different part of Georgië. A good and exciting daytrip to meet a lot of new people with an amazing host, Luka.

I enjoyed this wine tour a lot, the guides (George and Otto) were knowledgeable and helpful, it was a good day tour. One (constructive) comment is that the wines could have been better. The first stop is en route to Kaheti at the storage facility and wine tasting centre for a large commercial winery (KTW ). We tasted directly from massive stainless steel containers and the wine was not fully matured, tasted poorly as too young and too sweet. This site accommodates large group tours, all there at the same time. It was difficult to hear the winery guide who spoke through a microphone and very quickly. Not really a personal experience. Fortunately the next stop was a lot better - a smaller family winery where the sommelier was knowledgeable and several of the wines were quite good. They have a restaurant on site - this was our lunch spot - and the food was excellent. The remainder of the day is a visit to a monastery and a walking tour of the town of Sighnaghi which is quite charming. I would have stopped longer there for food, perhaps, as the arrival back to Tbilisi is a bit late, 10pm. All in all a fun trip, I enjoyed it.

However, we find it difficult to understand why this resulted in a 3-star rating. Your review is largely positive, while the score suggests a poor overall experience, which simply doesn't match what you wrote. We believe this rating is not an adequate reflection of the tour. Regarding KTW, it is one of the largest and most respected wineries in Georgia. Tasting wines directly from tanks is a unique opportunity to experience wines at different stages of production, something many wine enthusiasts specifically enjoy. Naturally, young wine tastes different from a fully matured bottled wine, and that is part of the educational experience. Our itinerary, including the approximate return time of around 10:00 PM, is clearly stated before booking, so there should be no surprises regarding the duration of the tour. Reading your comments, it almost feels as though the wine tasting may have had a stronger effect than expected. We hope you were simply in a particularly cheerful mood when writing the review. In any case, we wish you all the best and thank you for traveling with us.

Luka guided us through a memorable day. It was not only a wine tour, but an opportunity to experience the welcoming and nurturing Georgian culture, it's flavors and landscapes.
