Tour por la mañana con crucero por el río desde Port Douglas
Descripción
Este es un gran recorrido para aquellos que solo quieren pasar medio día o tienen poco tiempo. Visitamos dos áreas en este viaje, Daintree River y Mossman Gorge. Comenzamos con un recorrido por la autopista Captain Cook, camino al río Daintree, y compartimos un poco de historia en el camino. Aquí, abordamos un crucero por el río Daintree, en busca de la vida silvestre local, incluidos el cocodrilo de estuario, serpientes, pájaros, ranas y más. Después del crucero de vida silvestre, disfrutamos del té de la mañana con Lamingtons y té/café. Una vez en el Parque Nacional Mossman Gorge, realizamos una caminata interpretativa a lo largo de un paseo marítimo elevado. Dependiendo del clima, podemos disfrutar de un chapuzón en el arroyo cristalino de la selva tropical, mientras estamos rodeados por la hermosa y curativa selva tropical de Mossman Gorge. ¡Qué forma más memorable de pasar la mañana!

Embarcará en un crucero por el río Daintree, en busca de todo tipo de criaturas, incluidos cocodrilos de estuario, serpientes, pájaros, ranas y más.
Llegamos a Mossman Gorge, que es la parte sur de la selva tropical de Daintree. Su guía lo llevará a caminar y compartirá su conocimiento de la flora y fauna local y responderá cualquier pregunta que pueda tener. Esta es una caminata fácil de ida y vuelta de 500 m, principalmente a lo largo de paseos marítimos. Puede disfrutar de un baño en el arroyo de aguas cristalinas del bosque lluvioso, que puede ser bastante refrescante, mientras está rodeado por el hermoso y curativo bosque lluvioso de Mossman Gorge. ¡Qué gran manera de pasar una mañana!

Well organised, on time, very informative and entertaining the locals that run the tours are very passionate and knowledgeable as well as friendly and caring highly recommend this tour to anyone keen to learn about our beautiful country !
Great tour all around. Our driver Peer was very knowledgeable and thorough. The river tour was all about finding crocodiles then we had coffee and tea. The final part was the national park and a lovely swim near waterfalls.
Picked up at hotel. James was great. Kept us on schedule and provided good information about plants, geology, wildlife. Our Croc experience was exceptional, Chris was knowledgeable and hilarious. Saw juveniles and “Scar Face” up close and personal. He also kept an eye on the weather keeping us out of an incoming squall. This was a 1/2 day trip which, thanks to James and Chris was a wonderful experience of the Daintree.

We had an absolutely fantastic day on the Daintree and Mosman Gorge tour from Port Douglas. Our tour guide was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable and engaging throughout the entire trip. He taught us so much about the geology and history of the rainforest, crocodiles, Aboriginal culture and the local wildlife. The crocodile river cruise was unforgettable we saw 8 crocodiles ranging from tiny 3-month-old babies to enormous adults over 80 years old. Seeing Scar, who was over 5 metres long, was definitely a highlight! What really made the tour special was the humour and personality of the guides. They brought the whole experience to life with their wit, storytelling and amazing sense of humour while still being informative and professional. The scenery was breathtaking and the whole day was organised brilliantly. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Port Douglas.
