Una isla artificial estilo Riviera desarrollada en un enclave exclusivo de Doha. Es la dirección más glamorosa de Medio Oriente, que cubre 400 hectáreas de tierra recuperada y la primera empresa de desarrollo urbano internacional de Qatar. Se eligió el nombre "La Perla" porque la isla se está construyendo en uno de los principales sitios de buceo de perlas anteriores de Qatar. Qatar fue uno de los principales comerciantes de perlas de Asia antes de que los japoneses introdujeran perlas más baratas y asequibles justo antes del auge petrolero de Qatar. Lusail es una ciudad planificada en Qatar, ubicada en la costa, en la parte sur del municipio de Al Daayen. Lusail se encuentra a unos 23 kilómetros al norte del centro de la ciudad de Doha, justo al norte de West Bay Lagoon, en más de 38 kilómetros cuadrados y eventualmente tendrá la infraestructura para albergar a 450.000 personas. De estas 450.000 personas, se estima que 250.000 o menos serán residentes, 190.000 serán trabajadores de oficina y 60.000 serán trabajadores minoristas.
Construido en el sitio del mercado comercial centenario de Doha, a orillas del Wadi Musherieb, Souq Waqif se siente como un anacronismo, particularmente en el contexto del espectacular horizonte modernista de Doha. This tour guide/driver was excellent, with a very good attitude, very kind, and professional service. He also helped take photos, which were also professional and impeccable. This was such an amazing tour. Our guide Ali Zulfi was so knowledgeable. He knew all the answers to our questions and shared so much information. He made this one of the most memorable days of our trip. From the pick-up to the drops-off everything was well organised. Definitely suggest Ali and this tour.
We book this tour during our 8 hours layover in DOHA Airport, We we’re not sure what to do during that time frame then my husband decided to go on this tour, Guide Sam response quickly, Exit from Airport was smooth, Sam gave us easy tips for meeting point, Tour of DOHA was amazing, We visit several sites in 4 hours, We try local meal in Souq Waqif market was delicious, Katara cultural village and pearl island was interesting, DOHA skyline is the best in the World, If you are on layover then go for it. We enjoyed the private Doha city tour lots of information about the culture and lifestyle about Qatari. Our guide was so excellent at explaining things about Doha, my son enjoyed every moment we had in the City during layover specially the souq wokif and falcon market. Spent a great afternoon with Sam our tour guide, exploring Doha City, a fascinating place to visit. Sam was extremely knowledgeable, customising the tour to make sure we had the best experience possible. There was a lot of wind and sand so he started with visiting the stadium where the 2022 FIFO World Cup will be held, followed by a wonderful shopping mall. We then headed to the Pearl of Qatar followed by the Katari Cultural.Centre. The wind had calmed down by then and temperature dropped making the stroll around the facilities enjoyable. After visiting the Pearl, we finished off with a visit to the Souq Waqif. Would thoroughly recommend.
