Detalles de recogida en el hotel: Esté preparado 45 minutos antes de la salida en el lobby del hotel (60 minutos para hoteles no céntricos). Si su hotel no está cubierto, llegue al punto de encuentro por su cuenta. Opción de llegada autónoma: * Si su alojamiento no se encuentra dentro de nuestra área de servicio de recogida, venga directamente al punto de inicio del recorrido. * Llegue a la Piazza del Risorgimento, en el centro de la plaza, adyacente al Bar l'Ottagono, 20 minutos antes de que comience el recorrido. * Encuentra a nuestro equipo luciendo el logo 'I love Rome' en rosa. Excellent service and explanations.
We went on a pristine sistine tour with Laura. (I think that was her name). She was fantastic. She had a great sense of humour as well as enormous knowledge of the artwork and the history and a love of Raphael. I would recommend that tour to anyone, and she was really good for people who had quite a lot of knowledge and so appreciated her special expertise.

Our tour guide, Roberta, was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. Her knowledge and information made the tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel so much more enjoyable.
Despite buying skip-the-line tickets we had to queue for two hours in torrential rain
Gentile cliente, Ci dispiace molto leggere che abbiate avuto questa esperienza e comprendiamo il disagio causato dall’attesa, soprattutto sotto la pioggia. Purtroppo l’elevata affluenza e alcuni inconvenienti organizzativi non dipendono direttamente da noi e, in particolare durante i periodi di festività, può accadere che si verifichino rallentamenti anche per chi è in possesso di biglietti saltafila. I love the coverage of everything we wanted to see. The guide was thorough and pleasant. She did a great job maneuvering through a large crowd of visitors. I'm 75 and hearing impaired. When I told her, the guide got me a better hearing device than what was handed out originally, but I still could not make out very much of her descriptions. My wife said she was terrific. My suggestion is to have over-the-ear muff-type headphones available for the hearing impaired. I also carried a portable small stool which I used frequently. This helped me to navigate the long tour. Unfortunately, it did not help with the hundreds of steps on staircases, both up and down. I made it but would not recommend the tour to anyone who is not able to navigate steps well. Bottom line, we're glad we took the tour. Kudos to our guide.
Roberta was a very intelligent interesting guide. She taught us about the Vatican museums with great knowledge and stories. She took us to the Sistine Chapel with such a thorough explanation of the scenes on the ceiling and wall. She then took us out to the front of St. Peter’s basilica where the pope was speaking and explained the architecture and sculpture. Roberta was phenomenal.
It was convenient, the tour picked me up at my hotel 15 mins before the tour started. Got only 6 people in my group whereas other tours got more than 15 people. The tour guide, Roberta, did a good job. She prepared pictures with explanation for the chapel while other tours didn’t have ones. Recommended.
Fabio was an amazing tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable in the art and history of the Vatican/St. Peter’s Basilica. His English was easy to understand and he connected the history/facts together throughout our tour to help us remember them. He was extremely kind, keeping us in the shade as much as possible and offering us frequent breaks. He even made an effort to remember our first names, which added a nice personal touch to our small group tour. He helped make our experience more memorable and we would definitely book with I Love Rome tours again!
