This one is definitely worth the splurge and was the Grand Finale for my week in Cairns! What an incredible experience seeing The Great Barrier Reef from above after snorkeling below. Fabulous reef tour! I decided to go at the last minute after reading other reviews, and it was even better than I expected! I had a front row seat with all clear glass in front and below. Spectacular views! And the pilot did a nice job explaining what we were seeing.

The views of the GBR were astonishing! The pilot narrated key features only and allowed us to absorb the beauty mostly in the quietness of the moment. Our tender from the ship was delayed and they kept our reservation open; thanks! This was our first helicopter ride and I researched the company before booking. I was very confident that our safety was their top priority.
