Pleasant guide, nice tour to get an overview.
Tour guide and bus driver were excellent. Gave a lot of history and narrative of the region. Two hours is plenty of time to explore Piran. Quiet town with not a lot of tourists. Nice to be able to walk by the water. It was just very very hot the day we toured.
It is a hop-on hop-off tour from Koper to Piran with a short photo stop; the candy should have been picked up later at the meeting point, I hardly believe anyone from the booked guests did that, nor could they have.
The guide for this experience was friendly and very knowledgeable.
Piran was a very beautiful location to visit - highly recommended. However our first stop en route to look back at a village was not woth it. Bus parking spot was taken so we had to navigate a very busy steep road on foot for a quick photo. Hot day too. i would have preferred this time in Piran instead. A small thing but no sweet treat given as promised. apparently ran out for the day and this was at 9:30 am. Its in title of the trip! a little disorganized trying to load bus and A/C on bus was almost non existent on a hot day
Bus had minimal air conditioning and it was a hot day. We also did not get the advertised “sweet surprise”, though that wasn’t a big deal. It’s a thing to do while in port but may not be the best thing.
Piran is a quaint little town. 2 hrs is enough time. You are given history on 40 min bus ride then on your own to explore. Old town koper is interesting, the elevator up to Old town makes it easy to get there. The palace was closed when we got there for wedding which was disappointed
Excellent bus tour with our thorough, personable tour guide who showed us the natural beauty of Slovenia and gave us some of the history. It was an interesting connection with Italy and Croatia . We were then dropped off in beautiful Piran where we had the best gelato in my life. I was pleasantly surprised by Slovenia and would definitely visit again !
The bus was comfortable and left on time. The guide gave an overview of the area. The drive was scenic and the town of Piran was very charming.
Wonderful tour - Monica gave an in depth overview of not only Koper and Piran but of the whole country of Slovenia. You could feel her love of her country when she spoke. Tour bus was comfortable and clean. While in Piran we walked up to St George Church. Beautiful.
