I stumbled upon this kayak tour quite by chance and then did a little research. I rarely book guided tours, as one quickly feels like part of a mass processing. The many short options offered, about an hour long, just to say that one has done it, felt inadequate to me. That was not an option for me. I was fortunate to have the tour all to myself that day. Mattia was the best guide I could have wished for. We explored both the city's canals and the lagoon. And we did so completely without time pressure or stress. Mattia has an exceptionally good sense of when to share exciting details about his city and when it is simply time to enjoy the moment in peace. His knowledge of Venice is impressive, and at the same time, he is incredibly attentive and empathetic. Experiencing the sunset from the kayak in this unique city was an unforgettable moment that I will not forget anytime soon. I can truly recommend this tour to everyone. It is absolutely worth investing a few extra euros. For an experience that goes far beyond a classic tour and remains as a lasting memory.

It was a really nice kayak trip through the channels. Mateo was a very nice guide. We also got to kayak out into the bay for a bit which was pretty special!

It was amazing to kayak around the canals of Venice! We passed between rows of buildings that just seemed to rise out of the sea. Many of the canals were very quiet and dark. We looked up and were able to see stars overhead as the buildings on either side - often with decorative parapets - seemed to lean toward each other. We passed under countless bridges, but fortunately, only passed a few motorboats. It was cool to pass through the "inner nitty gritty of the city". You could hear the footsteps of the few pedestrians that walked on the streets along our canal route. Would highly recommend.

This was a very special way to see Venice! We were in a double kayak and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the city from the water!

This an incredible way to experience Venice and a must-do if you have any paddling experience. Shamir was an excellent guide, and with the history he gave us it would be nearly worth the money if he was your guide on foot. Bring a small towel or a change of pants for the walk home, water will drip down the paddle and soak you. Tip to the tour operator: you should offer some kind of paper map/drawing of where people went. So good, don't miss, thanks Shamir!!

Being a group of avid kayakers, how could we pass up a chance to paddle Venice? We did a private tour with Shamir and it exceeded expectations in every way. He took us all our Venice, showing us the beauty of Venice at night while providing very interesting historical commentary. Boats were decent, scenery was unbelievable, and our guide was fabulous!

A very unique experience. It’s interesting to be in control of your own craft in the canals. The guides are super knowledgeable and tell you all about the history of Venice and point out unique buildings and features you might otherwise overlook like secluded palaces and boat works.

My mom and I didn't have much (or any) experience kayaking and our tour guide Shamir was very helpful and guided us along. We had a great time in the canals of Venice at night like the old days. Highly recommend!

Very nice tour in Kaya k for two hours with Shamir who was speaking French and English !!! We enjoy a lot of! Superb walk in Kaya k with family! Great to redo this unique experience! An original activity and a beautiful discovery of Venice the serenity!!!!
