Great job! Glad we had such highly personalized attention on this trip around the Washington DC area during this time of year. Early spring is a great time to visit.
Seeing DC at night Unfortunately, it was over priced. We didn’t have a tour guide rather a driver who was knowledgeable but never got out of the vehicle to explain what we were seeing Other tours had guides providing details and creating a memorable experience. Our driver was courteous and enjoyed sharing jokes and history along the way. We were expecting much more lights in the city than just the Tree on the lawn. For the experience 1/2 the price would have been more reasonable.
We loved the major memorial stops, but wished we could have taken more stops for the other statues. Next time will like to take a White House tour. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable.
Worst tour guide. Some of the information he gave us was incorrect and he never stopped talking! Tour was too long. We didn't finish until 11 pm.
This was a 3 hour tour, but it went by quickly since there were quite a few stops when we got out of the van and walked around sites. And such comfy seats when we were in the van! The tour guide was so informative - he knew everything about American history! A very cool 3 hour experience.
This tour is run by Loba not astra. It's the same tour being advertised by Loba. There was a ton of confusion with people trying to figure out the tour they were supposed to be on. We ended up having 3 buses, all Loba to take everyone. Though the tour I booked was supposed to be capped at 60, there were 75 people at least. I was led to believe this would be a night tour with illuminated memorials but the first half happens while it's still light out. Only three of the sites were visited while it was dark, however one of them was the Korean war Memorial which is beautiful at night. you also have to choose between the Lincoln memorial and the Korean war Memorial because they are at the same stop. You have 20 minutes there which is hardly enough time to even get up to Lincoln with all the other tourists there. You are dropped off at each site and given a time you need to be back at the bus. The tour guide/driver tells some jokes and points out some other buildings along the way. We really liked our driver but the tour was nothing special. Save the money and ride the circulator for $1 per ride to each site during the day and then visit the Korean war memorial at night if you want to see that.
Terrible. Couldn't get there in time and they were not willing to refund my money. I am not happy. This was terrible
We had an amazing time doing this tour. We did another tour during the day l, but seeing the Lincoln memorial and the attractions at night tome is indescribable. I highly recommend it. Our guide was a History teacher, he was very knowledgeable.
Please let me ppl know up front that they need to bring a flashlight to view the monuments and quotes
Good tour. The guide was very knowledgeable The monuments are beautiful at night. Dress warmly. In May can be chliity Would recommend
