Absolutely amazing experience rich in history. Don’t have to be an outlander fan to enjoy it, and if you were an outlander fan, it was a little more meaningful as it related to the books and the TV series. Can the tour operator was fabulous, extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and was able to be very accommodating with my mobility limitations. Highly recommend this tour
Thank you for your kind review. I am glad you enjoyed your day.
Ken was an excellent guide and took us to some of the most amazing places. This tour far exceeded my expectations!
Thank you for your kind review.
This was an amazing trip. Ken was great. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our requests. He showed us everything we wanted to see and more. We will definitely refer others.
Hi Thank you for your great review. It was my pleasure to take you on tour.
We thought our travel agent had purchased tickets for the day along with scheduling the driver, but she didn’t. Ken was able to come up with things to do for us on the fly, was very knowledgeable and interesting, and what could’ve ended up a disaster turned into a great day because of him. Highly recommend! Great experience.
Thank you for your comments. I am so glad that you enjoyed your day.
Thank you Ken for showing us such a wonderful time today! Weloved your sense of humor, and you are so knowledgeable about Outlander! Even a seasoned fan, such as myself, had something to learn. The inside scoop at Simon "the fox" Fraser's burial place made us feel like VIPs! Thanks also for tailoring the tour to our specific needs. My daughter's loved the newly opened Nessie exhibit, and we are all chattering away about our favorite parts of the tour. We enthusiasticly recommend this tour company!
Thanks for this great review Laura. It was my pleasure to share the day with you and your daughters.
If you are traveling to Scotland and specifically the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, you absolutely MUST book Ken MacKinnon and the Highland tours and transfers. I don't know where to start with my 10/10 review. First, Ken was kind, fun, knowledgable and flexible. Our family of 7 (adult children) travelled for 3 days from Inverness to Skye. Ken took us all around Skye and knew the PERFECT sites for us to see and hike. He was so flexible with our needs when we wanted to go "outside the box" he came with us. We liked Ken so much, we asked him to join us for dinner a few times. My adult children commented that he knew when people wanted to chat and when we all needed quiet time. He is a wealth of very interesting Scottish information and fun facts. We actually miss him. I would never do that trip without Ken. However, the most important factor for me what that those roads in Skye are treacherous, Ken has done this trip for decades and we felt so incredible safe at ALL times. Thanks Ken!! The McLeod Clan :)
Thank you for your kind comments and generosity Clan McLeod. Your family were a joy to take on tour. 😊
We had an absolutely wonderful day with Ken on our Outlander Tour. It is evident that he loves what he is doing and his major concern is that his guests have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable day. Pick up was timely, van was clean and comfortable. We were allowed as much time as we wished at each stop. We saw every Outlander site listed on the tour and more, but we never felt rushed. As a true son of Scotland, Ken knows his history, lore, and legends. You learn a lot on his tour. We highly recommend this Outlander Tour.
Thank you Leanne for your kind comments. I thoroughly enjoyed my day with you all. I hope you enjoyed your birthday celebrations.
Hired Ken for a private full day tour of Speyside whiskey distilleries. Ken was great! Excellent communication before the trip by email. I provided a list of destinations, he did much research and was able to plan an itinerary of locations which were open and available that we requested. He did plenty of leg work for us before our tour, and even purchased our tour tickets for us since in advance since the tours were filling up Ken is a great historian, very kind and friendly, and knowledgable about the Highlands. Very accommodating to our itinerary and provided a wonderful experience. Also very reasonably priced compared to other attempts at hiring a private guide. I will defoinitaly hire Ken the next time I come the Inverness for a private tour!!
Thanks for the review John. It was my pleasure to share the time with you on your whisky trail.
Ken was a great guide, had some inside scoops on Outlander filming and historically relevant info. He was helpful and accommodating!! Great tour!
Thanks for your kind comments. I am glad you enjoyed your tour.
