This was an excellent tour and Shaun was the perfect guide. A must if you are in Sedona.
We booked this tour last minute after seeing all the jeeps around town. We wanted a 7AM tour and most were booked so we decided on this tour. We are so glad we did! This tour takes you farther out than any of the other tours. There is a short trail to get to the dwelling site which added to the fun! It was completely shaded when we went. The guide was fantastic and gave us plenty of time to view it and take pics. The scenery out and back is beautiful too! Mild off road/dirt road so no worries there! Highly recommend!
Nice excursion with a lot of education. Was 2 hours - half hour out, hour tour and half hour back. A little pricey for what it was. But, also nice to have a knowledgeable guide. I felt like there were more ruins we didn’t see, but we had to get back before dark, I assume.
We took the ancient ruins tour with our guide Steve Sovich. Had a wonderful time and learned so much about Sedona and the history of this area. Totally impressed and my family really enjoyed our time. Would do another pink jeep tour on my next trip!
We went on the Ancient Ruins tour with John & it’s been the highlight of our trip. It was an amazing experience. So much beauty in the 7 Canyons He gave us so much information about Sedona & the Sinagua people. On the back he went a different route to show us some of the neighborhoods. He was hoping to spot a Javelina for us. Overall A+++++
Scenery was terrific and we had an excellent guide. Beware though the ride is quite rough! Not recommended for tender backs.
We been on Pink Jeep Tours before when we last visited Sedona. Now they offer twelve different tours. Each one is different and they range from rough to rugged to somewhat mild. The type of terrain dictates the smoothness of the ride, so if mentioned in the tours, so if you have a bad back or other physical problems choose wisely so that you will enjoy your adventure. Since we have been able to see many of the different areas and rock formations, this time we took the Ancient Ruins tour. This tours requires some hiking and you are taken to ancient ruins from the years 900 to 1300 where the local native Americans lived and built stone structures. Very very interesting and informative.
This is an excellent tour with a lot of historical and geological information. Very educational! There is a short hike to the ruins but not to strenuous.
Fantastic. Our guide, Jesse, was very knowledgeable and shared a ton of information, took lots of pictures for those in our group, and made the whole experience memorable and fun. If you're prone to getting car-sick, be sure to take Dramamine as the 4-wheel drive is definitely tested on the rugged dirt roads through the red rock country.
If you like to get off the beaten path a bit, soak in spectacular scenery and enjoy history, this tour to the Honanki cliff dwellings is for you. It involves an easy hike to, and along the cliff dwellings. Our guide, Adrienne, was very knowledgeable, providing interesting, engaging conversation about the history of the peoples, and Sedona area in general, tips on other places to visit and area activities. A late afternoon tour on a beautiful day is the perfect time for spectacular photos.
