Itinerario
Comienza con un paseo en barco desde el puerto deportivo de Shelter Cove hasta la parte posterior de la isla Daufuskie. El paseo es una parte importante del recorrido! If you've got the option, go on the tour with Pippi. She brings the tour to life and is committed to the customer experience, so they take it home with them. Learned so much and saw a bunch of wildlife. Don't bother taking a dolphin expedition, you'll see them on this tour as a bonus!
What was amazing was seeing the relationship and care for the people on the island. We even got to meet a local artist now nationally known at his remote studio. A rewarding experience steeped in personal knowledge.
The history of the island and its people is eye opening. To hear about the struggles and how the inhabitants were able to overcome was amazing. They truly lived the phrase of “it takes a village”. Our captain and tour guide, Captain Kelly was informative and very friendly. In addition to the wonderful information he provided, he also found several pods of dolphins during our cruise over to the island.
This experience was better than I thought it would be! Captain Dean was an amazing guide, and historian. Both my wife and I would highly recommend this excursion!
Lots of history, and our guide, Andy Kennedy, was very knowledgeable. There were only 8 people on our boat/excursion, so it was easy to ask questions

Master Captain Dean was great! After a beautiful boat ride, where we saw some dolphins, we toured the island. Met some locals. Learned of the history and saw some key historic spots. The tour was informative, and very interesting!
