We booked this experience from the UK over a month in advance and reconfirmed a few days before. We were genuinely looking forward to it. There was no meaningful attempt to notify us of any issue. The only outreach was a vague voice message the day before—“Hi Jonathan, it’s Sammy”—left for the person who made the booking, who lives overseas and was on a flight at the time. There was no follow-up, no explanation, no attempt to call again before the 10:00am tour, and no email. When we arrived, we were told there was no guide available because the assigned guide was sick—despite the company advertising multiple guides. She offered a refund ( but couldn't verify it was issued because it was booked through Tripadviser) . No effort was made to offer a solution—no rescheduling, no alternative guide, not even basic assistance in finding another option. The person who made the booking was speaking with Sammy—and expressed, understandably, that the lack of notification was unacceptable—the rest of us (three women in our 50s) sat quietly in their office to regroup and figure out a plan, especially since the space presents itself as a tourism office. At that point, the situation escalated unnecessarily and inappropriately. Sammy became rude and repeatedly accused us of “making her uncomfortable.” This was simply not the case. We were calm, quiet, and trying to understand our options after being left without a tour. Despite this, she continued repeating the accusation, told us to leave, and then locked the door. More concerning is the lack of professionalism. This reflects poor training and an inability to distinguish between a genuinely threatening situation and customers who are understandably upset. I would strongly not recommend booking any tours—Segway or otherwise—through this company. Management should be aware of how this situation was handled. We were fortunate to find a last-minute trolley tour with another operator, which was excellent and highlighted just how poorly this experience was managed.
We had a wonderful time! Our guide was outstanding (pun)! Will definitely recommend and will do again next time we are in Atlanta!!!!
It was a perfect cool fall morning for a Segway tour of the City! We live in Smyrna but wanted a Staycation for our PTO day and loved finding this adventure. Very fun guide and interesting facts about Atlanta that we didn’t know. 10/10!!!
We had a great time on our historical Segway tour. Jeremie did a great job showing us the sites and keeping us safe. It was informative and a lot of fun and highly recommended. We Segway when we go on vacation to different cities to get a feel of the town and this gave us a good feel for the place.
Our guide, Jeremy, was fantastic! He did a great job teaching us to ride the Segways, was patient and encouraging, and successfully accomplished the goal of getting us comfortable with the Segways. The tour was informative & enjoyable. Would highly recommend!!
We really enjoyed our tour. I learned things about my home town that I never knew before. Our guide even timed a stop so that I could do my check-in for SW airlines and get a good seat. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, especially those who may be on the fence about doing it.
Guide was patient, knowledgeable and fun. The company was very accommodating after Viator screwed up our scheduled tour
Jeremy was great. Very informative. Great instructor on the Segway for a first time user. No more foot tours for me, Segway all the way.
Our tour guide Jett was amazing. Full of really interesting facts about Atlanta. From beginning to end was great.
It was a great way to see the city, while still being in control of the view. Love our tour guide Jeff, he was very knowledgeable, patient and good with safety. I would highly recommend this for someone who has never tried a segwe before.
