En este recorrido de 9 a 10 horas, visite el lago Sevan, la perla de este país montañoso y uno de los lagos de agua dulce a gran altitud más grandes de Eurasia. También visitará Sevanavank, un complejo de monasterios en la península de Sevan. Actualmente funciona aquí un seminario religioso, que no está abierto al público; la península se puede llamar el punto desde donde se contempla toda la belleza del lago Seván. Luego hará una breve parada en la ciudad de Dilijan, también conocida como la "Suiza armenia" por sus fantásticos bosques naturales. La ciudad es parte del Parque Nacional Dilijan. La siguiente parada es Haghartsin, un monasterio del siglo X que ha sido recientemente renovado gracias a la donación del jeque Dr. Sultán Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, el gobernante de Sharjah, quien quedó impresionado por el monasterio cuando lo visitó. Goshavank es la última parada rodeada de territorios verdes.

La fascinación y la "perla" de la Armenia montañosa es el lago Sevan, que es uno de los mayores lagos de agua dulce a gran altitud del mundo. Está a unos 1900 m sobre el nivel del mar. El lago es de origen volcánico y está rodeado de montañas de 3000 m en adelante. El hermoso paisaje y el agua cristalina cumplen buenas condiciones previas para un excelente descanso. El lago también es famoso por su península y complejo de iglesias medievales, construido en 874.
Una maravillosa escena se abre en la parte noroeste del lago Sevan, donde la península se eleva sobre la superficie transparente del lago. El monasterio de Sevanavank fue construido en la península en 874 por orden de la hija del rey Ashot Bagratuni, la princesa Mariam. La silueta de las iglesias sobre el fondo del lago turquesa y el cielo azul causa una impresión inexplicable en los visitantes.
Goshavank fue fundada por el famoso científico medieval, el fabulista Mkhitar Gosh. El complejo consta de varios edificios religiosos y seculares. El inigualable khachkar, puesto frente a la basílica de un solo ingenuo, fue creado por el hábil maestro Poghos en 1291. Goshavank solía ser uno de los centros religiosos y culturales más famosos de la Armenia medieval.
El monasterio de Haghartsin, situado en los bosques de la región de Tavush, representa un ejemplo indescriptible de mezcla de la naturaleza con la arquitectura. Fue fundada en los siglos X - XI, aunque se añadieron nuevos edificios en los siglos XII - XIII. Ahora se compone de San Grigor, San Astvatsatsin (Santa Madre de Dios), iglesias de San Stepanos y algunos otros edificios. El refectorio, debido a su hábil composición arquitectónica, es de gran interés. Cerca de Haghartsin solía crecer un enorme roble, casi a la edad del monasterio, completando toda la escena. Lamentablemente, solo una pequeña parte del hueco ha permanecido hasta la actualidad, sin embargo, sigue siendo de mucho interés entre los visitantes, y conserva la tradición, según la cual, cuando uno pide un deseo y al mismo tiempo logra pasar a través del árbol (hueco), se espera que se haga realidad en un futuro cercano.

Not fun at all, they did not give enough time for each place. For exaple in the old city the guid gave us only 10 minutes. They did not drive us to lake where we can do zipline. Its like a lecturing of history in a boring way. Not recommended

This itinerary is designed as a classic historical and cultural tour, led by a professional and knowledgeable guide, focusing on some of Armenia's most remarkable landmarks. It does not include a visit to Lake Parz or the zipline, and these attractions are not part of the advertised program. We also spent approximately 30 minutes in Dilijan, including a short guided walk through the Old Town. We believe that a different tour, focused on nature and outdoor activities, might have been a better match for your interests. We appreciate your comments and wish you many enjoyable travels ahead.

A long tour outside the city starting from Yerevan, visiting several monasteries and towns in an environment different from other regions of Armenia. Recommended in summer for the cooler climate found in these areas.

The tour may have been much better suited for Russian speakers. Combining Russian and English in the same tour was not a good decision. Typically, the guide would spend about 10 minutes speaking in Russian and only 2–3 minutes in English, making English-speaking guests feel like an afterthought. Some of the main issues we experienced were: - Instructions and meeting points were often unclear. - We were traveling with a senior and a child, so we naturally moved more slowly and were frequently at the back of the group. - The guide rarely waited for the entire group to gather or ensured that everyone had heard the directions. - At one stop, we lost the group completely, which was stressful. - The guide did not seem mindful of the different needs of guests. - Several other English-speaking participants were also visibly frustrated by the confusion and lack of communication. - At most stops, the Russian explanation took up about three-quarters of the time, leaving English speakers waiting around aimlessly until the guide returned to give a very brief explanation before everyone had to rush back to the bus. The lunch was mediocre at best. In addition: - It was not clearly explained that the cake was an extra charge. - We were traveling with a child, and none of the food options were suitable for her. - When we chose not to order food for her, the guide seemed offended, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. I would not recommend this tour to English-speaking travelers, especially families with children or seniors.
Thanks to our guide Aik and our driver Aro for this good tour. I really like, how Aik told about Armenia history and about places. Lake Sevan is astonishing and road to Dilijan with monasteries are beautiful. For me also been interested to hear Armenian history. It’s really old country. I highly recommend this tour!
