Visite 2 restaurantes tradicionales. La primera parada es un restaurante de tortitas de huevo y dulces de arroz, una marca desde 1875. Pruebe los dulces de arroz glutinosos suaves y masticables de un querido restaurante que ha sido un alimento básico en Nanjing Road durante más de 100 años. Con una mezcla perfecta de frijol rojo dulce y rellenos de sésamo seco, cada bocado es una combinación encantadora de sabores. No te pierdas su panqueque Chino hecho a pedido, maridado con una taza de leche de soja. (esto es solo para el desayuno tour) La segunda parada será un restaurante de albóndigas de sopa, una marca desde 1986. Zoe with Eastbound and Beyond was amazing!! I’ve been on several food tours and this one was different. Our guide, Zoe, was friendly and knowledgeable. She felt more like a friend showing us around her city. She even set up an experience to make our own dumpling, which was harder than it looked. The best part about tour was there was no selling. We didn’t end up in a place that was “recommended” we “try” something, ie. buy from their partners. It was strictly about the food and the food was fantastic. We had a fantastic private walking food tour in Shanghai with Wen Jie, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. As an English-speaking guide, she made everything easy and enjoyable. Our private tour included a great variety of food stops—our favourites were definitely the crab roe xiao long baos and the sheng jian baos. The experience ended with a nice walk along the Bund, where Wen Jie shared interesting facts and history about Shanghai. It was not just a food tour, but also a really informative introduction to the city. Highly recommended!

Tour was great,it was our second day in Shanghai and our guide Roy showed us interesting locations and gave us deep insight into local cuisine and culinary tradition. He also gave us some fun facts about Shanghai and overall Chinese history. Excellent way to get to know Shanghai for any first time visitor.
