Amazing tour with a very personable and knowledgeable guide. We loved all the food spots we visited and Brian gave us lots of great history and context about the foods and locations along the way. Definitely worth our time and money.
We had a wonderful experience on this tour. My partner and I had Brian all to ourselves and he was really great about giving us choices on the places we visited and foods we tried. Of course this isn’t always the case with these tours but I felt Brian was so personable and really cared about what kind of experience we were hoping to get out of the tour that even with a bigger group his main focus is the client’s experience. Not only was his tour filled with great stories about the foods but he was able to interlace lots of historical facts and landmarks along the way. I’ve done numerous tours all over NYC over the years and Brian was by far my favorite guide that brought the most to the table.
We had a fabulous time on this food tour. Brian was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience feel effortless and fun. Beyond introducing us to amazing food, he gave us thoughtful recommendations tailored to the things we mentioned we were interested in, which really added a personal touch. He was genuinely enjoyable to chat with, and the whole tour felt relaxed, unhurried, and welcoming. It never felt scripted or rushed. You could tell he truly loves what he does and wants his guests to have a memorable experience. It was a flawless experience from start to finish, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who enjoys trying new places, learning about the area, and discovering great food.
Thanks for such kind words and an amazing review, Brian! It was a pleasure hosting you all in the Village and hope to share some great stories and food with you again soon!
I had previously taken a food tour with a group of girlfriends in December, and Brian was such an outstanding guide that when I planned a trip to New York City with my daughter and granddaughter to celebrate my granddaughter’s Sweet 16, I knew I wanted to book with him again. The Village to Village Tour was the perfect blend of New York history, sightseeing, and delicious food. Brian was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and accommodating throughout the tour. He shared fascinating stories about the neighborhoods while making sure the experience was tailored to our interests. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and my daughter and granddaughter loved it as much as I did. I highly recommend booking a tour with Brian if you’re looking for a fun, informative, and memorable way to experience New York City.
We did the tour 'Village to Village' with Brian in March 2026! It was a really great tour, both the culinary stops and Brian as tour guide were phenomenal. He had a great knowledge of the restaurants and their history or special features. Likewise, he was very familiar with the district and was able to get to many buildings/places etc. Give information. He did so in a very kind way and it was a pleasure to move around the houses with him...anytime again! Greetings from Frankfurt an der Oder...A+J
Danke schön, Jörg. I'm thrilled to hear you had such a great time on the tour and enjoyed the food and exploring the neighborhood. Hope to see you on your next trip to NYC for another food adventure!
Unique and delicious! I’ve taken many food tours in New York and Brian’s Village to Village tour is one of the best. You’ll visit places you would never find on your own, and eat things you can’t find anywhere else. Even the foods you know (like pizza) are better than what you’ve had before. He knows the history of the city and its food scene intimately, and personally knows the owners of many of the food establishments. You’ll get to meet some of them, and sometimes even see where your food was made. In a city where food tours have become common and increasingly generic, this one stands out.
Thanks so much Alex! We definitely try to make sure our tours stand out and visit unique local food establishments that you wouldn't find on other tours. It was a pleasure to host you and hope to see you again on another tour soon!
