Nice tour - awesome guide. The church stop was so-so - ok soup but sandwich was inedible. Last stop involved eating outside while standing; not great. Everything else was fab.

We had an excellent time on this tour, with our lovely guide Leo! We were able to visit places we would have NEVER found on our own, while also learning about the culture and history of Lisbon. There were lots of options for the vegetarians in our group. Highly recommend!

The many restaurants on Via Augusta are all well and good, and many are very good, but this tour takes you off the beaten path to little nooks and crannies you’d probably not get to by yourself, on holiday. Go early in your stay - then go back to the ones you liked. Oh, and Leonor(?) was lovely.
Dear guest, thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed discovering some of Lisbon's hidden gems beyond the usual tourist spots. That's exactly the experience we hope to share, and we love your tip about joining the tour early in a visit. We'll also be sure to pass your kind words on to Leonor. We hope to see you again soon!

We (a couple) were joined by 3 others on this tour, with our amiable guide, Gabriel. It was a good thing that we started at the highest point of the tour and could navigate down the narrow and sometimes steep streets. Gabriel provided a great overview of Portuguese history and the wide-ranging influences on current modern Portuguese food (I guess that’s what happens when you’ve dominated the world centuries ago). He made sure we were well-fed and not thirsty. We finished off with pasteis de nata and his recommendation to sprinkle a little cinnamon on them was a revelation to all of us. And after that, he gave us some recommendations for local dining spots that we followed. Overall, a great tour.
Dear guest, thank you for your wonderful review. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed exploring Lisbon with Gabriel and appreciated his insights into Portuguese history and cuisine. It's great to know you loved the food, the local recommendations, and his special tip for enjoying pastéis de nata with cinnamon. We're so happy that Gabriel helped make your experience memorable, and we hope to see you again soon.
This was our family's first food tour, and our first time in Lisbon. We did the Heart of Lisbon food tour with Amanda, and everything about the food and her direction was fantastic! The tour lasted around 3 hours with the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children). We never felt rushed, and the entire experience felt so comfortable and natural, as well as interesting for everyone. We felt as if we were truly getting to see special spots we would not have found otherwise, with fascinating tidbits of history and culture as well. After the tour, we chatted a bit, and we're provided a list of reccomended bars, restaurants, venues, museums, and really anything we could possibly be looking for regarding the rest of our trip. We will remember this fondly!
Dear guest, thank you for your wonderful review. We're delighted to hear that your first food tour experience and your first visit to Lisbon with Amanda were so enjoyable for the whole family. It's great to know you felt comfortable throughout the tour and that you enjoyed discovering special local spots along with the history and culture of the city. We're also happy that Amanda's recommendations helped you plan the rest of your trip. We hope to see you again soon!
