Laura was our guide, and she was amazing. She really engaged with us, taking time to explain not only the dishes but also local history and background on the rationale for the foods’ history. It was time and money well spent, and I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Maris was great - very bubbly and knowledgeable. It was lovely to taste the Croatian dishes and a good way to spend a few hours. However, we paid nearly 100€ each and I'd say there wasn't enough food (or exclusivity that you couldn't find yourself) to warrant that price. The nuts in the market were delicious but the seller has the free samples we were given available to any passer by. Burek was also amazing, but we had the equivalent of 1/3 each (although Maris kindly offered my husband another 1/3). Most of the other dishes were widely available - food in Dubrovnik is delicious! We did another food tour in Prague and it was significantly cheaper and more satiating than this. We met some lovely people on the tour who gave us some good tips to enjoy the city but for the cost, I wouldn't choose this tour again.

My husband and I took this food tour this afternoon, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Dubrovnik! Our guide, Maris, was warm, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history, culture, and local culinary specialties. She made every stop interesting and engaging, sharing stories and insights that brought Dubrovnik to life. The food was delicious and gave us a wonderful taste of the region’s specialties, including black Risotto, oysters, Burek, and gelato.. Maris’s enthusiasm and passion made the entire experience so enjoyable that I hardly even noticed the sweltering July heat. If you’re visiting Dubrovnik and want an authentic, informative, and fun experience, I highly recommend this food tour. Thank you, Maris, for such a memorable afternoon!

The hostess, Maris, was pleasant and instantly approachable. She was very knowledgeable about Dubrovnik itself and the food we were tasting. She ensured everyone on the tour felt involved as we went from place to place. Each item we ate or drank was very good and by the end of the tour all of us were suitably fed and watered. The staff at each establishment we visited was also very polite and courteous and made the whole group feel welcomed.
