Very fun way to see Chinatown and try some Chinese and Thai food. Jida was super good with my kids and even got my shy young one to jump in and help make the papaya salad that we ate! Be sure to not eat before as we were so full by the end. It was a lot of amazing food!

Five stars for Dao! She was an incredible guide on our Bangkok foodie tour. Not only did she take us to the best hidden gems we never would have found on our own, but her energy and knowledge made the night unforgettable. If you’re in Bangkok, you have to book a tour with her!
Thanks a ton for sharing this! It’s always great hearing that guests were able to just enjoy the experience and have fun with it from start to finish. Secret Food Tours would love to welcome you back anytime.
First and foremost, our tour guide Tem was excellent! She was so kind and knowledgeable about Thai history, culture, and food. She was always incredibly attentive to make sure we had the best time. Food overall was good! The portion sizes are smaller or meant to be shared, but this was totally not a problem by the end of 7th/8th course as we were all stuffed. Spice levels are adjustable for almost all dishes. I enjoyed the variety of meals, although I do wish there were more Thai dishes that are less known to Western audiences. I would say that this tour is EXCELLENT for Thai food newbies or beginners, but might be slightly more commonplace to more well-versed foodies. That being said, the majority of the food was excellent, standouts include the papaya salad, duck noodle soup, and coconut jelly ice cream. My only suggestion would be to skip the dim sum as this was a little mediocre, but perhaps could have been the quality of the food that day. Overall, it was a great experience! Great for couples or solo travelers to taste a variety of Thai foods and learn Thai history.
