Descripción
Hue es conocida internacionalmente como la antigua capital imperial de la dinastía Nguyen (1802-1945), pero dentro de Vietnam también es conocida como la capital gastronómica del país. Para aquellos que se dedican a encontrar la mejor comida de la ciudad y hacerlo al más puro estilo vietnamita, la única manera es en la parte trasera de una motocicleta. La moto nos da la libertad de recorrer los mejores lugares de la ciudad para cada plato. Disfrute mientras nuestros conductores/guías cuentan las historias de los numerosos platos de Hue, a menudo folclóricos y ferozmente disputados, antes de volver a subirse a la bicicleta para continuar su viaje. Nuestros guías/conductores son todos motociclistas con licencia y experiencia, y entusiastas de la cocina de Hue. Lo recogeremos en su hotel y cruzaremos a la Ciudadela de Hue y exploraremos las calles históricas y avenidas arboladas vecinas a la Ciudad Imperial, que además de su belleza e importancia cultural para la ciudad también tienen algunas de las mejores comidas de la ciudad.

Itinerario
Te llevaremos a disfrutar de la gallina Com, que es un plato de arroz con ingredientes rurales como mejillones (gallina) y hierbas frescas combinados mediante un sofisticado proceso. Los mejillones se hierven para crear el caldo, añadiendo dulzura y profundidad al arroz.
Disfrutarás de 3 pasteles tradicionales 1. Beo Cake`s Hue es un pastel de harina de arroz que se coloca en un blister de aluminio o en una taza pequeña y luego se cuece al vapor. Por lo general, tiene un hoyuelo en el medio que se cubre con una sabrosa mezcla que incluye camarones frescos, frijoles mungo y chalotas fritas. 2. Bánh bột lọc” es uno de los pasteles más populares de Hue. El bizcocho se cocinará al vapor, después de que esté bien cocido retire la hoja para comer. La masa es tan transparente que se puede ver el relleno de camarones en su interior. Los otros no tienen cubierta de hojas, sino que simplemente se desechan, luego se ponen en un plato y se realza el sabor con cebolla frita. Este pastel debe acompañarse con una salsa de pescado agridulce. 3. A continuación te trasladarás a otro lado de la ciudad para probar el Bánh Khoái, que es (panqueque vietnamita) en Hue, es delicioso gracias al secreto de mezclar harina y caldo elaborado con más de 10 especias para crear una salsa espesa.
Camine a lo largo del río Huong, cruce el puente Truong Tien más famoso de Hue y luego disfrutará de Bún bò Huế, que es una cocina vietnamita. Es una sopa rica y picante con profundas capas de sabor. Esta sopa de Vietnam Central se combina con tiernas rebanadas de carne de res y cerdo y luego se cubre con muchas hierbas frescas.

This was by far the best food tour I have been on! The food choices were customized to what I have and have not eaten before, which was exactly what I was hoping for! The places we visited were as local as things get, and the food was of outstanding quality. Delicious! I also learned so much about the different food regions in Vietnam, and why the Vietnamese food is so diverse from north to south. And, absolutely wonderful host and fun along the way!

Bem was our guide and it was awesome. She has only local family kitchens, has us super entertained and gave us other, very interesting insights besides food. After the 7 different restaurants you are still full the next day. Anytime again and highly recommended

We had the food tour with Ngoc and Tai! They were very flexible, since one of us was vegetarian. They chose local restaurants and streetfood-stands which offer vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The tour itself was amazing! We had the chance to try out so many local dishes! And we also managed to see a lot of the city while riding the scooter. We also learned a lot about the food culture here.

Myself and my partner wanted to try the local food but were unsure where to start. We opted for the scooter food tour. Ruby and Tai were amazing, they picked us up from our airbnb and took us to some very cool local places with the most amazing food! The food was so tasty, so many flavours, I loved all of them and it was hard to choose a favourite. We really liked the Com/Bun Hen, Banh Khoai, Banh nam and the local Banh Mi. Ruby taught us a bit of Hue history and about life in Hue. She also helped to cater to my partner, who is vegetarian. Tai was cool to hang out with as a young person of hue, and a great rider too! I loved this motorbike food tour with Ted and the other drivers who drove other members of my family! Hue might be one of the best cities to do a motorbike food tour as the roads are not as busy and food in the region is amazing 🤩 I feel really lucky to have a guide and eat local food (including Bun Bo Hue). Such a fun evening event, and great for people who don’t know where to start to eat this great regional cuisine.
