Nos aventuraremos fuera del casco antiguo, comenzando en la catedral de San José, donde pronto encontraremos recetas familiares muy vigiladas para platos emblemáticos, mordiendo banh mi baguette esponjosa y sorbiendo una sopa de fideos Pho de ternera digna de baba, todo ello regado con un jugo de caña de azúcar recién exprimido. Todo antes de una tradicional junta de bia hoi que ha existido durante décadas. La cerveza elaborada localmente tintinea sobre la gloria de la mañana y el tofu rociado con aceite de cebolleta. We had a wonderful experience on the Hanoi Dusk Food Tour with our guide Tom (Tùng). Tom was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive throughout the entire tour. He took great care of us and made sure everyone felt comfortable at all times. We especially appreciated how thoughtfully he adapted the tour to our interests, sharing fascinating insights into Vietnamese culture, history, and local traditions. He also handled dietary restrictions and food allergies with great care and professionalism, making sure there were delicious alternatives whenever needed. We always felt safe and well looked after. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was fantastic, and Tom’s enthusiasm made the whole evening even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you have the chance to explore Hanoi with Tom. It was one of the highlights of our stay!

We had an incredible experience on this tour with our guide, Stella! If you're looking for an authentic local food experience and want to discover places you would never find on your own, this tour is an absolute must. I appreciated that in addition to very local spots, we also visited some more well-known places that I had hoped to try during our visit to Hanoi (which also allowed us to skip the usually long lines which was great!). One of the highlights was enjoying an amazing bowl of pho in someone's home. Every dish we tried was outstanding, and our only disappointment was that we simply got too full to eat everything! The pace of the tour is perfect, but you'll find it difficult to leave food on your plate because it's all so delicious. We've done eight food tours with Chef's Tour across Asia and Africa, and they've never disappointed us. In fact, if Chef's Tour is available in a destination we're visiting, it's the only company we'll book with. They consistently deliver authentic experiences, incredible food, and exceptional guides. I can't recommend this tour highly enough!

Tung is the best tour guide! We had an amazing time and it was very efficiently run and the food stops were fantastic. All the food was great! And tung gave great background on the dishes and history on the city! Would definitely go again and we’re going back to the bun cha shop they took us to tomorrow!

Our guide Tung/Tom was wonderful! He was knowledgeable about all the places and shared a little history of each and how it the dishes were also developed over time and through some generations. We had some unexpected weather, but he was also great about accomodating that as well!
