Ubicada en el Parque Nacional Altyn-Emel, la duna Singing es uno de los fenómenos más singulares de la naturaleza. El área se conoce como las Dunas Cantantes debido al sonido retumbante emitido por la arena. Una brisa ligera produce un chirrido apenas audible, mientras que ráfagas fuertes producen un sonido más intenso, similar a un órgano. En la Edad Media, las personas que escuchaban el canto de una duna, creían que se trataba del aullido del diablo.
Las montañas de piedra caliza Aktau son un museo geológico bajo el cielo. Este es uno de los objetos turísticos más interesantes y espectaculares del Parque Nacional Natural Estatal "Altyn-Emel". En kazajo significa Montañas Blancas. Las montañas sólo parecen blancas desde lejos. En los cañones de las montañas se pueden encontrar rocas abovedadas desnudas de colores, torres compuestas de capas de colores se alternan con cañones secos llenos de cristales de calcita. Los paisajes cambian constantemente: bastiones, torres, pequeñas ciudades, castillos y cañones inaccesibles, no tienen fin.

It was a very nasty trip with your driver cum guide. He was fully drunk. Car was off the road for 3 times. We shouted and then only he could again gring the car from the bushes. He was having some friend in a village and he had gone to that place 3 times during the trip He was acting that the brake has failed. Which is not true. In dead of night he was searching for gas keeping us I the dark road. At 11.30 he left us in our apartment campus.we could not locate our apt. For 30 minutes in mid night shivering. We do not know the.loval language. God saved us from accident 3 times and fr this nasty driver.
Micha was an amazing guide and driver. We spent all day driving to the park and seeing the dune, mountains, and scenery. The sites are breathtaking. Sliding down the dune and hearing the sound is a once in a life time experience. Would highly recommend.
Amazing all day trip with an awesome guide. Micha was a great driver. He made the trip even better. The scenery of the national park was awe inspiring. The sound of the dune under your feet and butt was truly something magical.
We had good and exciting experiences walking on the singing sand dune. The driver was nice, the sites were great!
The driver, Olzhas, was great. Ski instructor at Shymbulak. A calm driver who never gave you the feeling that he didn't know what he was doing, even on the gravel slopes. He had great music in the car. The car, a Toyota 4Runner, was excellent. (as we had previously driven from Astana to Almaty by car, I can say this: you can book Luxury with driver and still get a car with damaged fenders and broken shock absorbers....). It was new, very clean, freshly washed (ok, dirty again after a short time, but that was kind of the goal). Everything we saw was great. Never did Olzhas stress in any way - always completely relaxed (the way I imagine a good guide: if there are questions, there are answers, but no long talk about things nobody asked about). I had visited the national park before with a two-day tour, but I have to say - even if you have to get up early: I liked this tour better. It's definitely something you must do.
