• Todos los clientes pueden llegar a la cumbre del Nevado Mateo con nuestros guías expertos. Somos pacientes y serviciales. • Relación guía/cliente: 1 : 3 • Crámpones, botas, casco, arnés y hacha de hielo provistos de ajuste previo • Almuerzo estilo picnic incluido (pero trae tus bocadillos favoritos para la caminata) • Dependiendo del tamaño del grupo, el transporte es en taxi, minivan o autobús de lujo • De propiedad peruana; de gestión familiar • Subiremos al Nevado Mateo en solo un día. Es uno de los increíbles picos cubiertos de hielo de la famosa Cordillera Blanca. La altitud total del Nevado Mateo es de 5.150 metros, y el ascenso se considera técnicamente fácil. Este viaje es perfecto como su primera experiencia de escalada ya que no se requieren habilidades técnicas.

Itinerario
3:30 AM – Recogida en el hotel. Conduzca 2.5 horas al norte de Huaraz, pasando por Carhuaz y Shilla, e ingresando al Parque Nacional Huascarán. Entrada: 30 soles Parque en Punto Olimpia. 6 : 00 AM – Comenzaremos caminando a lo largo de la morrena del glaciar (~ 1 hora) hasta llegar a la base del glaciar, donde nos pondremos crampones, subiremos con cuerda, e iniciaremos el ascenso a la cumbre (~ 1 hora). Desde lo alto de San Mateo, disfrute de las vistas de los restos de la majestuosa Montaña de las Contrahiervas y las Lagunas de Cáncora. Tómese el tiempo para relajarse y disfrutar del paisaje antes de descender por la misma ruta. Una vez de regreso en el vehículo, empacaremos y regresaremos a Huaraz. 2: 30 PM – Llegada de regreso a Huaraz.

The hike was incredible but it was quite tough too. The views were absolutely incredible and we got some great weather with clear blue skies. Our guide spoke English which was great as was easy to understand him and we got to talk during the hike and learn more about other hikes he's done and was super open to talking about them. He was also very helpful when certain sections got a little tricky and would show a path to follow and on occasion even rope you up and pull you if needed for a small section
The best Guide Lucho , at the beginning when I was told about the snowy Mateo doubt it...After knowing Lucho I consider it is quite trained and accompanies you the step by step that advances to the end of the ascent and descent, encourages you when we reach the top of Mateo ..Recommendsdisimo...
Fredy organized all my tours so that the gradual acclimatization would be sufficient and effective to climb Nevado Mateo, which was the highest I would go in Huaraz. The tour is sold as possible for inexperienced people, but be aware that it requires physical strength at 5100 meters of altitude. With all calm, patience and encouragement, when I lacked strength, Fredy was there more than being my guide and support, giving me a much-needed push to get on the ice and motivational strength as well. The minimum technique to step correctly Fredy also taught with all patience and knowing what was best for an inexperienced person to do and where and how to step. Excellent guide and excellent person, I highly recommend it!! As for the tour, whoever goes to Lagunas Paron and 69 will have perhaps more beautiful or Instagrammable views, but the emotion and physical sensation of sitting on a glacier at 5150m seeing the highest mountains in Peru in front, thinking that you have achieved it, indescribable!!
The experience to climb the snow-capped mountain was very good. They provided me with the necessary equipment and instructions. I recommend it.
Best trip everThis simply was AWESOME Best trip ever!!! A serious must for those who seek adventure, for those who dare and even for those who are a tiny bit scared ....... don't worry it's cool. Our guide Richard was so kind. He knew the mountain like the back of his hand. One lady in our group was a tiny bit nervous, he held her hand, tethered her to himself and bolstered her confidence. She completed the trip successfully love to Xemena Overall this trip was phenomenal !!!!! Yes! Big Love ️
