Bien el trayecto de ida o el de vuelta a Palma se realizará por carretera. Recomendado para viajeros que puedan andar 700m a un ritmo medio y que no tengan dificultades de movilidad. El tranvía centenario te llevará desde el interior de Sóller hasta el hermoso puerto natural del Puerto de Soller, rodeado de montañas que ofrece todo tipo de actividades y lugares de interés, además de unas maravillosas vistas. El Puerto de Sóller tiene una rica historia marítima por su perfecta ubicación en la Sierra de Tramuntana, lo que lo convirtió en centro comercial de la zona y un tesoro codiciado por antiguos piratas y contrabandistas.
Sóller, centro comercial y cultural de la Sierra, nos da la bienvenida la plaza principal de Sóller que es perfecta para sentarse en una terraza y observar la iglesia de San Bartolomé y el edificio del Banco de Sóller. Ambas construcciones son una obra modernista del arquitecto Joan Rubió, discípulo de Gaudí, que también firmó la fachada de la iglesia, con un rosetón esculpido en piedra. Conocido como la cuna del modernismo, Sóller guarda una extensa historia entre sus calles y edificios. Las antiguas casas y palacios señoriales de estilo colonial nos cuentan como en los siglos XIX y XX, los comerciantes mallorquines hicieron fortuna con el comercio de naranjas en Francia y cómo el Rey Alfonso XIII proclamó Sóller como ciudad y centro comercial y cultural de la zona.

Excursion reserved through the Lemon agency in Palmanova; the lady at the counter is nice and speaks French very well. The guide Sophie is kind and attentive; she answers questions with a lot of professionalism.
It’s very rushed. You go from a bus to a tram to a train to a bus and nothing else. We were only in the port and soller for 20 minutes each.
We didn’t do the tour but we did take the tram from Soller to Port Soller and back. I know it feels like a must do thing but at 10 euros each way this is a total rip off. There was only two of us but if we had our family with us it would be 80 euros return!!!! The view isn’t magnificent and the journey can be stop start. I think it’s great that they’ve refurbished the trams and they are operating but please bring the price down.
Sophie was an amazing tour guide, her knowledge and sense of humour was brilliant, the tour its self had breathtaking views and beautiful village by the port. Would definitely recommend it. Ideally longer time and the port would of been nice. Excellent day out for us 😀 Might book the biggest free hotel in Palma next year lol Sophia 🤣
I got there in time, waited there for half an hour, but there was no bus. Not wanting to waste my day, I went on another tour. Therefore very bad experience u my money is gone.
Today we made the tram crossing from the town hall square of Soller to the port, double robbery, my partner and I went and it cost us 20 euros to get off and another 20 euros to go up, on top of that we did not have time to even have a beer in the port. If you come with a car that is not silly and go directly with your car that is not worth it, it has been a total waste of time.
Booked on their website and got a small discount. Nice trip back and forth. Nice views.
I looked at trip advisor before going on this trip and saw a recommendation to take the train to soller, and then return to Palma by bus. This worked out brilliantly and reduced stress of timetable restraints. Highly recommend
I’m very wanted to get this train for years and we finally had a weekend in Palma so we could make the journey. It did not disappoint. Of course it was busy and I cannot imagine what it’s like in July and August as it was quite busy in June. We loved the port and are planning to go back and stay. Soller is beautiful and we can’t wait to return.
Caught the wooden train from Palma, extremely busy even for end of October, nice pleasant trip down to Soller , about 60ish minutes. Before you arrive in Soller the train staff advise about pick pockets so be careful. Tram down to Soller port is waiting outside the train station just a 2 minute traverse. Soller port itself is a bit disappointing not much to see just one beach front full of bars and restaurants with the odd shop. Beach looks nice enough 1 day is just about ok , I couldn’t imagine spending more time there. Soller town is beautiful lovely shops and town square with bars and restaurants. Nice architecture etc. Also when you book your return time to Palma make sure you’re there on time or it will just leave without you.
