Todos los que vayan a Madrid no pueden dejar de visitar uno de los parques urbanos más bellos de Europa y Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO. El Retiro es el pulmón natural de la capital de España, una gran superficie destinada hasta hace 100 años al resto de la Familia Real. Plagado de edificios únicos, estatuas y hermosos jardines, tiene 19.000 árboles de 167 especies diferentes. En su interior se encuentran obras singulares como el Monumento a Alfonso XII, el Palacio de Cristal, el Estanque Grande, el Parterre, la Puerta de Felipe IV, el Real Observatorio Astronómico, e incluso una ermita románica. El Retiro también es siempre una referencia para leyendas e historias relacionadas con algunos de sus monumentos y fuentes. Un parque en el que se han encontrado tesoros, y que cuenta con un guardián secreto, un duende que según la leyenda e hizo travesuras en tiempos de Felipe V. Our guide, Felipe, was outstanding. He was patient, took pictures of us, spoke proficient English, extended our tour so we could get to everything (we have kids) for a nominal fee. It was our first time for the six of us to ride a Segway we loved and will be looking to participate in more tours with them. Excellent experience all around. Thanks, Felipe!
Though it was a hot day in Madrid, Felipe our tour guide was the best. He made it fun and entertaining. Very attentive by helping everyone take pictures and very informative about the history of the Parque de Retiro. If you get Felipe as your guide, ask him about Luna y Lorenzo. And tell him Ruben y Michelle said hello.
Our Segway tour guide Chris was great! We loved having her show us around the park. She did a great job explaining history of the park and how it’s used today. She also took loads of pics and videos. Such a fun way to see the park!

Liz was the best! Explained how to use the segways and let us practice - had such great energy and good vibes and we could tell she loved her job! She showed us the most important parts of the Retiro Park. This was most the fun thing I did while in Madrid. Highly recommend this tour :)
Very easy to learn. 10 year old granddaughter was so nervous at first and by the end asked to do another tour. Retiro Park is gorgeous!
Very nice and very accomodating. We booked our tour in the middle of sc heat wave. Magical tours called us ahead of time and offered to reschedule our tour later in the day to avoid the hotter part of the heat. Also, they kept this in the shade and provided water. Thank you very much. Tour is great excellent way to get around the park!!
We love segways! But our experience with this company was terrific in every way. Our guide was so enthusiastic about Retiro Park in Madrid and knowledgeable about the history and the plants and animals. He obviously loves the area and that energy came through to make our tour all the more enjoyable. It was beautiful and fun and I would encourage everyone with basic physical abilities to do the tour.

Let’s you see the main sights of the park swiftly including the animals, Peacocks, turtles, fish, black swans! Then afterwards you can go back to the bits you like to spend a bit more time.
