I wanted to do something outdoor while we were in Vegas, and this was a perfect experience! I loved the views, the journey to get there was a great distance for beginners. I've never kayaked before and I'm so glad this was my first! Anthony, the tour guide was informative on how to control the kayak and the area around. He was funny and didn't rush us. The cave was cool, but nothing to brag about. I would do this again because I loved how beautiful the views were and the water was so clear!
This was a nice getaway. But keep in mind, it stated about 5 hours duration. This lasted way longer than that, probably 7 hours. There was an additional $15 per person charge for National Park fee, that had to be paid in cash. When booking tour, I assumed double kayak and single kayak were available. When we got there, they were singles. I was never asked what type of kayak we preferred when signing up. Getting to shuttle for departure was somewhat of a hassle. Shuttle was not at main entrance.
Zen was our guide and is a really chilled and friendly dude. Great conversation and the trip itself was good value and great fun. 10/10 reccommend
This was a 10/10 experience made possible because of Anthony and his amazing team. They made sure we were safe and had fun. It was great getting to know Anthony and crew along the way, and they were so encouraging. I loved the bonus short cliff hike and swim. Oh, and the snacks hit the spot. My son’s comment — “best part of the whole trip.” That actually says it all.
Great fun! Robby was a great tour guide. Even though the water was cooler than we’re used to we took the plunge!
