It was a fun and informative experience. I really enjoyed seeing the Ayo Rock Formations, exploring the caves and learning about the history, seeing the beautiful scenery of Aruba on the exciting jeep ride, and swimming and discovering crabs in the refreshing natural pool.
Marcel was a Great tour guide and the day was amazing. We learned lots and were able to see some incredible places
Our experience was wonderful. The tour guide taught us about the beauty and wonder of this one happy island, and also helped us feel safe. He provided just enough information without inundating us. I would recommend. Please be aware this tour involves lots of stairs to navigate.
Great experience from start to finish. JP Morgan was great. We really appreciated his energy he brought to the group
It’s great to know the experience felt right from beginning to end! We’ll make sure JP hears how much you appreciated the energy he brought to the group. Thanks for exploring Aruba with us! The Pelican Adventures Team
Just want to say that we had overall a pretty good time on the tour. The tour guide was super knowledgable and nice throughout the whole tour, he was really funny and kept the whole group laughing. All of the spots we got to see were beautiful and full of so much history. The only downside we found is for guests with nut allergies. The tour offers water and a granola bar for a snack which is really nice but unfortunately all of the granola bars contained nuts. My wife has a severe nut allergy where even just touching a surface that someone else touched who ate nuts can send risk sending her into anaphylactic shock. We notified our guide of the severe nut allergy and were hoping that he would give out the granola bars after the tour due to the allergy so at least people would be able to enjoy whats expected on the tour. Instead, he decided to give everyone a granola bar right after we told him that she is allergic, so every other person on the truck was eating nuts around us while driving to the next spot. Once we reached the next spot, we didn't feel comfortable enough to get back onto the truck and risk having her touch a surface not knowing and take a trip to the hospital, so we notified the guide of the situation. He was super apologetic about the whole thing and brought us to a park ranger to help get us get back to our hotel since we had no service to call a taxi. Unfortunately, the company itself did not want to bring out a car to come bring us back to our hotel so it was either spend a ton of money on a taxi or somehow find a ride. Luckily the park supervisor was super nice and understanding of the situation as she also had a nut allergy. She tried to work with the Pelican Adventures to see if they would get a car to bring us back as it was their fault we were in this situation in the first place. Although she talked with them a bit, they thought it would be nice if the park supervisor would bring us back to our hotel instead of the company providing us a ride back. This is NOT HER JOB, she gave the company that as an option as a last case scenario as she felt bad about us having to spend so much money getting a taxi from the park back to our hotel. We were a 30+ minute drive away which for taxis in Aruba is not a cheap ride. Luckily we had someone as nice and amazing as her to help us out but it should not have come down to that in the first place.
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very glad to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful locations visited during the tour and appreciated your guide’s knowledge, humor, and service. At the same time, we understand how concerning the situation must have felt given the severity of your wife’s nut allergy, and we are sorry that this affected what had otherwise been an enjoyable experience. We would, however, like to respectfully clarify a few important details surrounding the situation. The severe nut allergy was not communicated to our team at the time the reservation was made and was only brought to the attention of your tour guide once the excursion was already underway. Had we been made aware beforehand, we would have had the opportunity to discuss the nature of the excursion in advance and recommend the most appropriate option. For guests with allergies of this severity, a private Jeep tour may be recommended, as it allows the experience to be more closely tailored to individual needs. The granola bars provided during the excursion are distributed outside of the Jeep at one of the stops. Nevertheless, we fully understand that with an allergy of this severity, the possibility of cross-contact afterward would understandably be a serious concern. Once your guide became aware of the situation, he did his best to assist and communicated the circumstances so that additional assistance could be coordinated. We would also like to clarify the transportation arrangements, as there appears to have been a misunderstanding regarding the assistance being provided. Once our team was informed of the situation by the tour guide, Pelican Adventures immediately began coordinating a vehicle to return you to your hotel. During this process, our team was in communication with the park employees regarding the arrangements and was advised that one of the park employees, who was already at the location and preparing to leave, could take you back to your hotel immediately. As this provided a much quicker solution than waiting for our vehicle to arrive, the park employee’s kind offer was accepted as the most practical and immediate option under the circumstances. We would therefore like to respectfully clarify that at no point did Pelican Adventures refuse to provide transportation or leave you without assistance. Transportation was actively being coordinated when the park employee offered an immediate alternative. We are grateful to the park staff for their cooperation and assistance in helping us resolve the situation as quickly as possible. We sincerely regret that the circumstances left you feeling unsupported, as this was certainly not our intention. Guest safety is extremely important to us, and your experience also reinforces the importance of communicating severe allergies or other relevant requirements at the time of booking so that our team can provide appropriate guidance and make suitable arrangements before an excursion begins. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We appreciate both your kind comments about our tour guide and the experience itself, as well as the opportunity to clarify what occurred. Warm regards, The Pelican Adventures Team
JP Morgan was a great guide! Would do this again!
So glad you had such a great time discovering Aruba with JP! Knowing you’d happily do it all over again is such a great compliment. We’ll be ready whenever Aruba brings you back! The Pelican Adventures Team
We had a blast with JP our guide. Loved swimming in the natural pool! Took a snorkel and saw a lot of fish even a snowflake eel! Glad we don't get car sick, because it's a bumpy ride! They supplied water and snacks. Bring water shoes for natural pool and I'm glad I wore sneakers for walking in the caves. It's a must do, if you're in Aruba!
Sounds like you really embraced the adventure with JP! We love hearing that you got to discover so much along the way. Thanks for the great recommendation and for sharing a few helpful tips for future explorers. We hope Aruba gives you another reason to adventure with us again! The Pelican Adventures Team
We did the tour of the island to see the caves and the natural pool. JP was such a great tour guide! I highly recommend if you are up for an adventure.

Our tour guide JP (Jean Pierre) was very helpful and fun! He made the experience 10x better. The experience was beautiful and worth the pricing. Would definitely recommend and do this again!
So happy to hear you had such a great time with JP! A good mix of exploring, learning, and having fun along the way can make for a pretty special day in Aruba. Thanks for the recommendation, we hope to see you again! The Pelican Adventures Team
They forgot to pick us up at the hotel, the last day of our trip, scheduled for more than 1 month, by Civitatis, we called to check the delay, they said that there was a problem in the system, always the same excuse, what do they mean was their fault, I do not recommend, look for another agency, they said they would return the money, is the least no?
