El Tijuca Forest Tour, es probablemente uno de los 5 tours más populares en la ciudad de Río de Janeiro. El bosque se considera el bosque urbano más grande del mundo. Representa el 7% del territorio de toda la ciudad, y también se conoce como los pulmones de Río. Visitar la ciudad sin ver el bosque es como ir a la ciudad de Nueva York y no ver el parque central. Río tiene que ver con la naturaleza, los lugares salvajes y las hermosas vistas. Todas estas 3 cosas se pueden ver y disfrutar en el bosque de Tijuca. Nuestro recorrido lo llevará a través de este hermoso mundo verde, mientras que aves, pequeños mamíferos y plantas exóticas se pueden ver en el camino. Las especies comunes son los monos Saguis y Capuchinos, así como el quatis (mapache brasileño), que se puede observar fácilmente allí. En términos de aves, se pueden observar tucanes, canarios, halcones, halcones y muchas otras especies en el camino. También se pueden tomar diferentes rutas que combinan el bosque con visitas a Pan de Azúcar, Corcovado y Playas de la costa oeste, solo consulte nuestra sección de combo. Nos detenemos fuera de la capilla donde podemos ver desde fuera pinturas famosas de artistas brasileños. También hacemos una pequeña caminata de 20 minutos alrededor de la capilla
Nos detendremos en Vista Chinesa, que es una antigua construcción hecha a principios del siglo XX para honrar a la comunidad china que vivía en las partes bajas del bosque, cultivando té. Las vistas de la ciudad desde esa ubicación son impresionantes
Hacemos una pequeña parada en Mesa do Imperador, una mesa de piedra construida en el siglo XIX, que solía recibir visitantes de la alta sociedad de Río, para picnics, incluido nuestro emperador Dom Pedro II.
También se incluye una parada rápida en la Cachoeira dos Primatas (cascadas de mOnkey). El lugar recibió su nombre debido a la gran cantidad de monos que se pueden ver allí todos los días
un pequeño lago construido cerca de la salida del parque nacional en el sector A, muy encantador y con muchas tortugas y peces carpa.

The tour was incredibly (Christo+ Nationalparc) well organized from start to finish. Bernardo was extremely friendly and clearly put a great deal of effort into everything. You can genuinely learn a lot during the tour, as he shares very interesting and engaging facts throughout. It was perfectly organized from A to Z.

Eliel, our guide, was very good. The “jeep” is a Chevrolet truck but was good. The forest is in the city. We saw no animals or birds. We could not go into the visitor center or the Chinese palace. The short waterfall was scenic. We were unable to go to the taller waterfall. The drive back through the beach areas was the highlight.
Hello there. Some parts of the park were closed because we had a sudden storm alert and when that happens the park closes some parts without notice. About the animals it is a natural habitat so we cannot guarantee that animals can be seen. But you forgot to mention that you saw the big rodents we call capybaras at the lagoon. It’s an open air Jeep so best to remind clients to bring some protection from sun or rain or winds. Best thing about this tour was some view points, looking down onto the city and surrounding area.
yes its an open vehicle and that is mentioned on the tour page but your tittle seems like you were dissapointed with that fact, sorry to hear that and thank you for the review
This tour was not as described. It was not in a jeep, and the "adventure" component was not as expected. We hiked less than a quarter of a mile on a trail from one side of a roadway to another. Our guide was not knowledgeable about the wildlife and didn't know much about the forest, its history, or other background. His driving was dangerous, and we even had a tire blowout after he hit a rock. He drove us to Santa Teresa and the Selaron steps, but he had nothing to share with us about what we were looking at. I would encourage other travelers to find a safer, more knowledeable tour operator.
I am not sure what you mean because we only use 4x 4 convertible vehicles in this tour and we call them jeeps. These are serious accusations about our vehicle and guide so can you qt least give us the name of the guide? Was it a driver guide or the tour had a guide and a driver?
My family and I had a blast on this tour. Felipe was our guide and he was puntual, super nice and knowledgeable about Rio and the forest. He took us to all the hot spots for excellent picture taking. He was helpful in taking our photos and getting us to our next tour. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Our jeep tour was great, and the guide was excellent. The Organizer told us (via WhatsApp) the day before that the hike to Pedra Bonita was canceled due to weather-related reasons and that we would be offered an alternate hike. However, the guide on the day of the tour told us there was no hike included and that it was just a jeep tour. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this tour. Management of this tour appears to be very unorganized.

Right from the first plea for help, Rio adventures were absolutely outstanding. They hooked us up with a tour that fit us beautifully. Communication was the best. We had the most amazing time with our guide, Gilberto, who was really patient, knowledgeable and so adaptable. He communicated with me via WhatsApp the day prior to our tour and his instructions about where to meet feom our cruise was precise and easy to follow.. a short 3min walk. Absolutely safe as houses. Our tour was so good, waterfalls and caves. The weather turned, and we ended up cutting our forest tour short.. our decision. But Gilberto took us to a few amazing places to fill in our time. We ALL thoroughly enjoyed our day.
