Such a lovely day exploring the monasteries in northern Armenia, very beautiful and well preserved buildings, our Guide Temur was extremely friendly and informative. Is a great option for a nice day out from Tbilisi and to experience Armenia.
The trip was amazing. Temur was very helpful and had a lot of interesting information about the places they took us to. It’s a short trip but worth it if you’re short on time and want a quick visit to Armenia from Tbilisi.
Arrived at the meeting point at 8.40 ready for the 9am departure as outlined on my ticket but was then told by the man at the meeting point that departure is 10am "they just haven't updated the ticket". How hard would it be to contact people and let them know? This meant over an hour of waiting for the tour to depart. Our guide, Temur was very good and engaging from the very beginning. The tour didnt follow exactly the stops outlined on VIATOR and the first stop was missed out completely but the rest of the stops were beautiful, with more than enough time at each stop for photos and souvenir shopping. Tabor was full of information both on the bus and walking around each stop. The bus had both AC and WiFi and was comfortable enough. The driver didn't excessively speed or drive unsafely. We stopped at a money exchange/shop when we entered Armenia to allow everyone to exchange some GEL into AMD. (100GEL should be more than enough for the day) The stop for lunch at approx 2pm was at a local cafe. It was cheap and seemed to be of good quality. Temur helped everyone order as the language barrier was an issue. I would use this company again even with their mess up of the tour start time/missing the first stop as the rest of the tour was of good quality
Temur was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about not only Armenian history but about the relationship between Georgian and Armenian peoples. I would highly recommend this to everyone looking to take a quick trip from Tbilisi to famous UNESCO sites in Armenia!
Avoid this agency! I have booked a trip to Armenia and noone has sent me any information. When I have sent them a messaga, noone answered. Finally, I have called them the evening before the trip and I was told on the phone that they will call me in 2 minutes. They have never called, but they have cancelled my booking. Btw, I have still not received my money...
