Booking was very easy. Calling them for the meeting place was horrendous. Meeting instructions not right and phone number from customer service was not correct. They hang up on us. It it was not for the guide who call me and gave instructions to the taxi driver, we would have lost the tour
Hi Gladys, we're glad you enjoyed the tour. Our apologies for the phone number - this number was supposed to have been changed, but this must have been overlooked. However, the meeting instructions given were correct, with an accurate Google Maps link - the taxi driver brought you to the correct place, and our guide could see the taxi close by once she realised it was yourselves, but for some reason there was some confusion with the taxi driver. Apologies again for the phone issue, this has been resolved now, and thank you for joining us.
Very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Learned a lot about the history of Italy, Rome and the Jewish community there.
Great historical walking tour with Alethea. Everyone in our small group ofc8 gained some tremendous insights regarding the Jewish population in Rome through the ages. The tour through Trastevere was nice too, but the jewishvhistoryvtour could've been a stand alone tour. Thank you for the experiences!
Thank you Ann! We're glad you all enjoyed the tour with Alethea, and discovered the fascinating history of the Jewish community of Rome
Our tour guide was amazing!! Our only issue was that the your left without us. The tour company never added us to our guide’s list. Although we arrived on time the others had arrived early and she didn’t know to wait for us. We caught up to them and figured out where they were.
Thank you Karen! I apologise for the issue with the list - somehow we did not get any email informing us of your booking, though the booking did appear in our system when checking. We're glad you still enjoyed the tour with Arielle though.
Take this tour if you want to learn about the long Jewish history in Rome. An excellent tour that informs and connects you to difficult moments in Jewish-Roman history.
Thank you Emma! Rome's Jewish history is fascinating, often tragic, and fully entwined with the rest of the city's history, so we're glad you were able to discover some of it with us
Very interesting tour with an exciting guide. We learnt many historical details about the Ghetto. Thank you, Ben.
Thank you Julie! Glad you enjoyed the tour with Ben, and found it interesting and enjoyable
Ben, our guide, was a deep well of history and a great story teller. We learned so much on this tour. The Jewish ghetto is rich with history, and on this walking tour, Ben gave us information that honored the history but wasn’t dull and dry. He was witty and handled every question people had with skill.
Fantastic tour! Our guide Alethia was so knowledgeable and informative and made this tour extremely interesting. I would highly recommend!
Alithia was knowledgeable in history and art. She was easy to understand. She was polite and knew wealth of information. She alao gave recommendations when requested.
Covers a lot of ground for a wonderful overview of two areas in Roma -the Jewish Square and Trastevere. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We did this tour and then circled back around to check out the synagogue ourselves since this tour does not go inside. Highly recommend!
