Exciting and interesting, a place you must visit without thinking about it.
An amazing journey from Vegas to Page, Arizona with history, stories, laughter and new friends made all while Jon (amazing tour guide) took care of our every need. Beverages, snacks, awesome Chicken Sandwiches at Birdhouse. We even had found time for extras. Jon was amazing and made this trip the most memorable. The sites were breathtaking and the journey awe inspiring.
It was amazing This was the best option for a one-day tour. The guide was excellent, and even when I couldn't find the meeting place for the tour, they called me and gave me clear instructions. The group was very pleasant, and the trip was definitely worth the money. I'm glad I chose this vacation option.
This was the most incredible awe inspiring trips. The sights will stay with me forever. Firstly, I cannot say enough about our driver, tour guide, historian and swell guy, James who drove us over 635 miles in a day. And I admittedly am a terrible passenger and I felt safe, comfortable and relaxed in the spacious vehicle the whole way. James knew each of us by name, even his Chinese guests, remembered our hometowns, was engaging, polite and just a fun guy to be around. There were plenty of quick stops, plenty of snacks, drinks, water…even cough drops for my husband as he had kind of a coughing fit on the ride home! James took wonderful care of us! He informed us of how long a drive til the next stretch and we always knew the itinerary. He also had a great playlist! He was a wealth of knowledge and fun to be with. Now to describe Lower Antelope Canyon. Just breathtaking is all I can say. Believe the pictures you’ve Googled. It’s astonishing. Jayce, our Navajo tour guide from Ken’s Tours was helpful, knowledgeable, and took great photos for us all on our phones in the very best spots. Next to Horseshoe Bend. Again, believe the pictures you’ve seen. It’s something to behold. MaxTours runs a smooth and professional operation and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you for a great experience. MaxTours
Jon was a wonderful Max Tour driver. He had plenty of snacks and drinks and was polite, informative, and easy going. Our Navaho guide, Lamar Y, was awesome too! He knew what filters to use for the best pictures, he was informative, friendly, and played the most beautiful music with his flute.
The tour is highly recommended; with Maxtour, the experience was excellent, and Jon was a magnificent guide. Despite being so many hours on the road, the trip didn’t feel heavy because Jon was telling us stories about the places we passed while playing music related to the stories he told. Fabulous.
We did the 3 day Ultimate Southwest tour and our guide, Momo was the best. She’s like a big mama taking care of her ward. Aside from the unlimited supply of water, juices, sodas, chips and bananas, she also went above and beyond and brought small necessities like deodorant, sunscreen, umbrellas, chargers et etc. She enjoys what she does by her speech, her tone, her willingness to answer any questions and in sharing her knowledge. She is definitely one of MaxTours’ gem! The tour is organized and well timed in each stop. Specially for restroom breaks and much needed stretches. The places we’ve visited were magnificent and truly a wonder to experience. I highly recommend!
Fantastic experience!!! John, our driver, was on time and had plenty of snacks and waters throughout the ride. He shared so much local trivia - we learned so much. And Antelope Canyon is AMAZING!!! Our Navajo guide Hunter was so helpful- it's hard not to get fantastic photos, but he took pointed out formations and gave us tips that made our experience so memorable and ensured the pictures really turned out as incredible as the canyon truly was.
Great transport in comfy vehicle with driver who was really knowledgeable and friendly
I joined the Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Lake Powell day tour departing from Las Vegas on May 30, and James was our guide for the day. The scenery was incredible. Antelope Canyon was even more beautiful in person than in the photos I had seen online. The colors, shapes, and light inside the canyon were truly unique. Horseshoe Bend was another highlight, and seeing it in person was something I had looked forward to for a long time. Lake Powell was also stunning and added another memorable stop to the trip. James did an excellent job throughout the day. He shared interesting information about the area during the drive, kept everything running smoothly, and made sure everyone was comfortable. He was also very patient when helping people take photos and knew all the best spots and angles. Some of my favorite pictures from the trip were taken with his help. I actually changed my tour date shortly before the trip because of my flight schedule. Looking back, I'm really glad I did because I ended up joining James's group. The combination of breathtaking scenery and a knowledgeable, friendly guide made this one of the highlights of my Southwest trip. Highly recommended if you're visiting Las Vegas and want to see some of the most beautiful landscapes in the region.
