Los túneles de Cu Chi en la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh Para protegerse de la ocupación francesa en la década de 1940, las tropas guerrilleras comunistas conocidas como Viet Cong cavaron decenas de miles de kilómetros de túneles con sus propias manos y herramientas simples y se expandieron aún más durante la Guerra de los Estados Unidos en la década de 1960. Ubicados a 75 kilómetros al noroeste de la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh, los túneles de Cu Chi son una elaborada red subterránea compuesta por 250 km de túneles y cámaras en la ciudad de Cu Chi. Esta enorme red de túneles subterráneos en Vietnam que ha sido preservada por el gobierno de Vietnam y se ha convertido en una atracción turística popular.

We received a very in depth tour from Bao, showing us round all the traps and the cu chi tunnels just outside Saigon. The tour was extremely interesting, and would definitely recommend to other travellers

The tour has been very interesting. You can walk through a section inside the tunnel, it is very narrow and you have to go crouched down. The guide Thin is great, always attentive, kind, and explains very well. Everything ok.

Bao was our tour guide, he was extremely knowledgeable, great humour and a nice guy to get along with. Couldn’t recommend him more. We had a great trip :)
