Después de que su guía se reúna con usted en su hotel, diríjase al suroeste de Saigón hacia el delta del Mekong, considerado el corazón de toda la región del delta del Mekong. En el camino, deténgase en la pagoda de Vinh Trang, un sitio budista con antiguas estatuas de bronce y una historia colonial. Haga una pausa a lo largo de las orillas del río Tien, la arteria norte del río Mekong. Realice un viaje en barco por el río Mekong a un taller donde se producen artesanías y dulces hechos a mano a partir de cocos. Un corto paseo en un carruaje tirado por caballos lo lleva a uno de los muchos huertos cercanos, donde degusta té de miel casero, saborea frutas frescas de temporada y disfruta de "Don Ca Tai Tu", música tradicional en vivo de la gente del Mekong. Después del almuerzo, súbase a un automóvil eléctrico para conducir tranquilamente por el campo, empapándose del ambiente rural mientras pasa por pequeños pueblos y granjas. A media tarde, suba al bote y navegue por los canales hasta llegar al lugar donde regresa a su vehículo turístico. Llegue a Saigón alrededor de las 5 p.m. Termina la gira.

This was a great day out with lots of experiences and activities. A beautiful lunch of fish spring rolls, prawns, soup, greens and rice. Boat rides aplenty and the best guide in Hai whose English is very good, friendly and a few jokes shown in for fun

The tour was lots of fun! We stopped at the temple and then on to the Mekong delta. The food was delicious, even though I was nervous and a picky eater. The coconut candy was great and we especially liked the pandan leaf flavour. Just remember to bring cash to purchase drinks along the way and to top the service people.

Great day trip from Saigon. Lots of different activities and visits included. Leo is an excellent guide and has much knowledge about the local area, traditions, culinary delights as well as Vietnamese history and culture. Truly a worthwhile day trip recommended for anyone keen to explore a part of the Mekong Delta
