Itinerario

This trip made me feel like Im visiting my best friend in Iceland as she was showing me around the best places they have, telling me funny local stories, superstitions and traditions along the way. Time flew very fast and it was totally worth it. Compared to big touris buses this tour had only 10 guests which made it extra special as well. Would love to come back to enjoy the weather, guides hospitality and warm Icelandic weather in summer time. Special thanks to our tour guide& driver Goha (note sure if spelling it correctly!) from Poland .
Marika (sp?) our bus driver/tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the various sites and Icelandic history in general. She also got us to all of the tour stops before the large tour buses arrived. She managed to keep us one step ahead of the crowds. We loved all of the tour stops especially Earth Lagoon; it was the cherry on top of a very special experience.
This tour was the perfect way to see the highlights of Northern Iceland. From driving along the scenic Eyjafjörður fjord to standing at the historic Goðafoss waterfall, every stop was stunning. We loved the sheer variety on this itinerary: exploring the rare pseudo-craters at Lake Mývatn, walking through the dramatic Game of Thrones lava formations at Dimmuborgir, and seeing the brilliant blue water inside Grjótagjá cave. Standing on the continental rift and witnessing the smoking mud pots at Hverir felt like being on another planet. Ending the day soaking in the geothermal waters at the Mývatn Nature Baths was absolute perfection. Highly recommended for a concise yet packed day of wonders!
This was a great experience. The guide was fantastic - probably the best of any shore excursion I’ve ever done.
A great highlight tour of Akureyri. The itinerary was a bit busy and I wish we had more time at each stop especially at the falls. But still so much fun. Our guide Javier, was extremely helpful and made the tour fun.
This tour was my favorite on our entire trip, we went to so many different spots! Jon was our guide. He was friendly, funny, and down to earth. He taught us so much about his country and all the spots we visited. We did not end our day at the lagoon as no one in our small tour wanted to go there but Jon had a great backup spot ready to take us to. We went to the Christmas House instead. One small warning, I will say the midges joined us from the lake to the next few stops so bring a head net to wear if you don't like bugs. They didn't bite but they wanted to go in ears, nose, mouth. Lol I took it in stride and didn't let them get in the way of the fun but my teen daughter felt differently about them. If you're wondering whether or not to book this excursion, do it! You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Jon!
This was a great tour, lots to see. It is a fully packed day. The option to visit a spa... Depending on who you are if you are exhausted at the end of the day, you may or may not want to do the spa. Great sites and informative your guide. Would have been nice to cut the one so down to 40 minutes instead of an hour. Fantastic sites to see
A great tour packing in a lot of great sights with an amazing tour guide. The falls were amazing and the lagoon at the end was a perfect way to end the tour. The guide was very informative and made sure everyone got the best experience.
Fox Tours with Jon was fabulous. He is born and raised Icelander and knows all of the details on the country that made for an interesting tour! Fox Tours is great! Thank you for a very enjoyable day!
Our guide Jon was funny and kind. He kept us entertained with stories and his knowledge of Iceland’s Geology. The views were amazing and the baths were relaxing - especially since they were our last stop! Slept great that night. Sit as close to the front of the small bus as you can… the views were somewhat obstructed from the back two rows.
