Esto no es un paseo turístico de lista de verificación. Es una experiencia local en bicicleta eléctrica de Kioto a través de templos de Higashiyama y callejones ocultos, guiada por alguien que recorre estas calles todos los días. Comenzamos con el montaje de la bicicleta y un claro informe de seguridad, luego cabalgamos desde el área del Palacio Imperial a lo largo del río Kamo y hacia Higashiyama. En el Santuario Nashinoki, recoges agua dulce de manantial como hacen los lugareños: tu botella reutilizable es un regalo y se convierte en tu agua potable para el paseo. En el Santuario Shimogamo, hacemos el famoso omikuji acuático (incluido) : sumergir el papel en agua y aparece el mensaje, una tradición inteligente y una divertida prueba de suerte. Luego visitaremos la tranquila zona de Honenin, continuaremos hacia el emblemático Nanzenji y terminaremos en el Santuario Heian. Evitamos las carreteras principales transitadas cuando sea posible y ajustamos la ruta para que coincida con las multitudes y las condiciones, manteniendo el viaje suave, seguro y memorable. Paramos en el santuario Nashinoki, un lugar que los lugareños visitan para obtener agua dulce de manantial. Recibirá una botella, la llenará en el santuario y la usará como agua potable durante todo el viaje.
Cabalgamos a lo largo del río Kamo, un lugar donde los lugareños se relajan y pasan tiempo en el Kioto diario. Siente el aire libre y la brisa del río mientras evitamos las carreteras principales concurridas y elegimos caminos más tranquilos y calles traseras.

Nos detendremos en el templo Nanzenji, una de las zonas más famosas de Kioto, conocida por su gran puerta y sus espaciosos jardines. Nos tomamos el tiempo para disfrutar del ambiente y capturar fotos, luego continuamos el viaje mientras ajustamos su ruta para que coincida con los niveles de multitud del día.
Terminamos en el Santuario Heian, un hito sorprendente con un amplio acceso y una impresionante puerta bermellón. Es un gran lugar para fotos y un claro “momento de Kyoto” para cerrar el paseo antes de regresar.

This was such a great tour. The bikes themselves were excellent… so easy to use and powerful. We visited lots of beautiful hidden places in Kyoto which we would never have found ourselves… and with no other tourists.. honestly hard to believe in such a busy place. Our guide Kai was fantastic and so knowledgeable… a genuinely lovely person who made the tour so enjoyable… thank you 😊 My teen sons had a great time

This was my favorite experience in Japan. Kyoto is overrun with tourists but only in specific areas, as soon as your go somewhere else it's a difference experience entirely. This is a small company clearly looking to put the customer experience first. It didn't feel like you were being churned through as a tourist but that you were being taken on a ride with a friend. Kiyomi was an excellent guide leading us through the city to see different shrines and temples not on the tourist circle. She gave as much cultural and historical background as we wanted explaining the differences between Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. She was very personable and if you are worried about communication Kiyomi spoke multiple languages! She even took pictures and videos of our group and followed up to share them the next day. Even through the weather was hot in July, it was actually cooler on the bike as the breeze from riding keeps you cool. The bikes themselves were well maintained and very responsive. I'm very happy I booked this tour and recommend you do as well.

Excellent biking tour and would highly recommend! We went to places we never would have found on our own. Our guide was so informative and kind. The perfect balance of exploring temples and getting to know the city. Our kids loved it!!
