My guide Andrea was very knowledgable and gave important information about Spanish history. The itinerary was well thought out and we saw all important places. We had several stops for taking photographs and longer explanations. It was a real pleasure to do this tour
Óscar, an exceptional guide: TOP
A very knowledgeable guy called Jacob took us on a very interesting tour of Old town Madrid and showed us several different areas further afield. He was very thoughtful, taking into account different interests, and extremely knowledgeable about Madrid. The bikes were new, in excellent condition and easy to ride.
It was a totally fabulous. Initially a little scary dealing with traffic, but our guide was awesome! Jacob was fabulous!
Fantastic e-bike tour around Madrid. Our group was very small, 7 including Oscar our guide. I felt safe throughout the tour. Oscar was really friendly and great fun. Gave us a brief and very entertaining history of Madrid. Bikes all worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the e-bike tour and felt safe throughout the experience. Small groups make all the difference, and we’re glad Oscar’s friendly energy and entertaining way of sharing Madrid’s history made it even more memorable. Great to hear the bikes were in perfect shape too! Thanks for the recommendation—we’d love to ride with you again.
Excellent tour. Our guide Oscar was excellent. Great commentary and very informative. I would certainly recommend this tour.
Thank you for the excellent feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that Oscar’s commentary made it both informative and engaging. We truly appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you again in Madrid soon.
Andrea was a very knowledgeable guide and had many history facts she shared during the tour. We had small group of 12. Bikes were easy to ride but there are lots of starts and stops due to pedestrian and car traffic. Bikes allowed for more coverage although didn't need much assist during the tour. I kept mine on setting 1 and only used 2 or 3 a few times to get up small hills. Saw lots of sites in the Madrid Centro area. I would avoid a tour in which you can mix riders on ebikes or regular as may be lots of waiting.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re delighted to hear that Andrea’s knowledge and historical insights made the tour enjoyable, and that you appreciated the small group size and the ease of riding our bikes. Madrid Centro does involve some stops due to traffic and pedestrian flow, but we’re glad the e-bikes allowed you to cover a lot of ground comfortably. We also appreciate your practical observation regarding mixed bike groups—feedback like this helps future guests set expectations and helps us continue refining the experience. We hope to welcome you again for another ride through Madrid!
Tour guide was great. Was a little disorganised getting the bikes and a lot had issues like poor brakes, seat not staying up, electric going on and off but overall it was a fantastic tour got to see and learn alot about the history of Madrid.
Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour overall and that the guide made it a great experience while sharing the history of Madrid. We’re sorry to hear about the initial organization and the bike issues you mentioned—this is certainly not the standard we aim for, and your comments help us improve. We truly appreciate you highlighting both the positives and the areas to work on, and we hope to welcome you again for an even smoother experience next time.
Turns out it was National Spanish Day so the areas we were supposed to see were unavailable. I wish we'd been given an opportunity to reschedule. Instead we took an alternate route with much time in the park. It was beautiful but it was basically just a bike ride. Our guide, Oscar, was very personable and loved history. He had some great graphics on an iPad to explain the few sites we were able to see. I had not bring a jacket and it was colder than expected but he went the extra mile and lent me one of his. About half way through the trip we discovered my gearshift wasn't working. He called his colleague who rode another bike down to us. The new one, I was warned only had one brake working . It didn't have much pep and I had a very difficult time going uphill. My husband said his chain was loose. I think I would have enjoyed a different day where we saw the more iconic sites. The guide did the best possible job it's not his fault that the equipment needs upgrading.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We truly appreciate your honesty. You’re absolutely right that National Spanish Day created unexpected access restrictions, and we’re sorry that you weren’t offered the opportunity to reschedule—your feedback on this is very important to us. We’re grateful for your kind words about Oscar. He is indeed very passionate about history and always goes the extra mile for our guests, and we’re especially glad to hear how he supported you personally during the tour. At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the equipment issues you experienced. This is not the standard we aim to deliver, and your comments have been shared internally so we can continue improving both logistics and equipment. While we regret that this day didn’t allow you to experience the most iconic sites of Madrid, we truly hope to welcome you back on another occasion under better conditions, so you can enjoy the full experience as it’s meant to be.
Great way to see Madrid highlights ! If you don’t have much bicycle experience I would not recommend though , streets were busy and hard to negotiate sightseeing , keep an eye on guide etc . Overall I did really enjoy as I love biking and great way to see the basics and the beautiful parks .
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the tour and found it a great way to see Madrid’s highlights and beautiful parks. You’re absolutely right that riding in busy areas can be more comfortable for guests with some cycling experience, and we appreciate you mentioning this for future travelers. We’re happy that, overall, your love for biking made the experience enjoyable and memorable. We’d love to welcome you back again!
