I would recommend this anyone visting the area. We went from Hollywood beach to Pamano beach and back. Stopped for lunch at one of the guides suggested spots, it was fantastic. Great value and lits to see!
The guides didn't give a decent tour. The captain was literally not paying attention to navigating. I was disappointed in the experience. I wouldn't recommend.

July 9th trip Native Ft Lauderdale residents here and we love the Water Taxi it's so nice to be out on the water in our own city. The captain/ first mates are always entertaining, informative and professional. This was the first time we decided to take the connecting Pompano route just for the ride and what do you know the boat broke down luckily as we touched the dock at Shooter's the engine died and they were very quick to tie us off otherwise we could have been anchoring in the middle of the intercoastal waiting for help, it took about 40 minutes for maintenance to arrive and he had us up and running in about 15 minutes. This won't discourage us from riding and enjoying our time together on the water. B. Wilson

Had trouble boarding and had to wait on next boat because didn't have barcode. A group of 6 had to call customer support to have barcode emailed. Also there was no guidance going on as I had on a previous trip

Great way to see the canals of FL and some of the fabulous homes on the waters edge. Thoroughly recommend. Great Capt on the return journey at 9pm playing some great tunes and creating a party atmosphere for passengers!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're lucky enough to have Don as your guide on the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi, you're in for a treat! Don made the entire adventure entertaining from start to finish with his great sense of humor, engaging personality, and incredible knowledge of the area. He pointed out celebrity homes, luxury yachts, and local landmarks while sharing fun stories and interesting facts that made the ride feel like much more than just transportation. His enthusiasm is contagious, and it's obvious he genuinely enjoys what he does. Don made everyone feel welcome and kept us laughing while making sure we didn't miss any of the beautiful sights along the waterways. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Fort Lauderdale, and Don played a huge part in making it such a memorable experience. I highly recommend taking the Water Taxi—and if you get Don, consider yourself lucky!

Good in theory but paid for 2 all day passes and wasted that money. We ride from Hollywood to Fort Lauderdale and were dropped off. We were told another boat would be right there. After waiting for an hour and 10 mins of waiting for the taxi to pick us up; we called an Uber. There was no commentary or tour. It was a ride with bench seating. Dropping 2 women off alone and telling them another boat was 5 mins away wasnt ok or acceptable. Sketchy people came and went. Meanwhile we were expecting to be picked up by another boat. We gave up and Uber’d to Las Olas and by the time we ate dinner, we had to uber back to hollywood. Total waste of money and a safety risk. Was not worth the price. Extremely disappointed in how we were treated and stranded. Our Uber driver says our experience happens often. He said hes picked up multiple peope who waited for hours and no boat ever came. For over $70, i exoected to get to our destination but instead paid an additional $130 in uber fees because the taxi wasnt reliable. I need a refund.
