Nuestro recorrido ofrece una oportunidad única de presenciar la historia de la guerra de Vietnam explorando los túneles subterráneos de Cu Chi conectados a los senderos de Ho Chi Minh. Tendrás la oportunidad de ver las trampas explosivas utilizadas durante la guerra y explorar el antiguo tanque del ejército estadounidense de la guerra de Vietnam tocándolo. Mientras te embarcas en un relajante crucero por el río Mekong desde My Tho hasta Ben Tre, almorzarás en la isla. Experimente el tradicional bote de remos en el canal de agua de coco. El pintoresco paisaje es un placer para la vista y te dejará hechizado. Recogeremos a todos los viajeros y nos reuniremos con los viajeros que no se alojen en los Distritos 1 y 4 desde aquí. El recorrido comienza a las 7:30 a.m. hacia los túneles de Cu Chi.
Los túneles de Cu Chi, ubicados en la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, eran una extensa red de túneles subterráneos que sirvieron como una ubicación estratégica crítica durante la Guerra de Vietnam. Construidos a lo largo de varios años, los túneles abarcaban más de 250 kilómetros y estaban formados por múltiples capas, que incluían viviendas, cocinas, salas de reuniones, hospitales e incluso escuelas. Los túneles se cavaban a mano, utilizando herramientas rudimentarias como palas, azadones y picos, y los trabajadores quitaban la tierra de los túneles y la escondían en los campos cercanos para evitar ser detectados. Navegar por los túneles de Cu Chi fue una tarea compleja que requirió conocimientos y capacitación especializados. Los túneles eran angostos, con una altura de solo unos pocos pies, y a menudo estaban llenos de trampas y obstáculos, como pozos de púas y puertas ocultas. Los soldados del Viet Cong fueron entrenados para moverse en silencio y rápidamente a través de los túneles, utilizando su conocimiento del terreno para evitar ser detectados. Luego, nos dirigiremos a My Tho.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Recogeremos a todos los viajeros en los Distritos 1 y 4. Los viajeros que se alojen fuera de las zonas de recogida deben reunirse con el grupo en la Iglesia Catedral de Notre Dame. La recogida es alrededor de 30 minutos de 7:00 - 7:30 AM. Confirmación de recogida de la hora exacta de recogida y la información del guía turístico se recibirá la noche antes de la salida. * Nota: Se recomienda a los viajeros desayunar antes del viaje y traer aperitivos adicionales, ya que el tráfico puede ser impredecible, y puede sentir hambre si regresamos al centro de la ciudad más tarde de lo esperado. Un breve descanso para tomar café se incluirá en el camino (a su cargo).

Fantastic arrangements throughout the whole day, our guide made sure we were very well looked after, the day was very complete with many different activities and the kids also loved every minute, highly recommended tour and company!
We did this tour with our wonderful guide, Kero. We were absolutely exhausted by day’s end but we learned soooo much much about Vietnamese history and culture. Kero was extremely personable and knowledgeable and somewhat tailored the day to suit our family. Our teenage kids had a wonderful time (especially at the tunnels and firing range), and they each have souvenirs of the trip. Kero also gave us recommendations on best places to visit and eat for our remaining time in HCMC. He certainly went above and beyond to make our trip a memorable one.
I went with a group of 6 friends, and had the best day ever. Countless activities and information about history and Vietnam! I absolutely had the best time ever! Kero was our tour guide and he did an amazing job, he was so accommodating and helpful throughout the whole day. Wouldn’t want another tour guide! Thank you Joy Journeys!
This was such a memorable experience! The day was so compact with activities yet everything went so smooth and we all felt we had just enough down time! Absolutely loved all the different food offerings included, and really enjoyed how local the experience felt. Our tour guide Kero was amazing, he could answer every question and always had a smile. He also gave us great recommendations about what we should do for the rest of our trip, so would definitely recommend this as the start to your visit to Vietnam!
The day trip was absolutely incredible. We had the best time with Kero and he was so informative. He was so awesome with our allergies as a group and made sure our lunch spot was aware of the allergies. The lunch we went to on the tour was incredible and the perfect amount of interactive and chill. The tunnels and boat tour were the perfect way to spend a day if you have time in Ho Chi Minh
Ken is an amazing tour guide and the day was well planned. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip from beginning to end - well thought out itinerary and plenty of food/snacks throughout the day. I highly recommend using Joy Journeys but just beware the journey from Cu Chi tunnels to Mekong River was a 2.5 hour car journey.

Tom was an excellent guide who was informative and friendly. We had a great day visiting the Tunnels and rifle range before the traveling to the Mekong, where we had lunch a rowing boat ride, honey tea and local singers. This is a big day which does start early but it is needed as there is a bit to cover and the crowds were building as we left the Tunnels. I highly recommend both Joy Journeys and Tom as a guide.
Our day started at 07h20. Our guide Huy welcomed us and gave us the planning for the day. The tour at Cu Chi tunnels was really interesting. Huy took the time to give us plenty of information at each stop. We then moved to the Mekong, and had lunch at the Turtle island. After lunch we went to Unicorn island, where we tried Longan honey, snake wine, we saw coconut candy making, and tasted local fruits while listening to local music. I highly appreciated the communication with the company prior the tour. Special thanks to Huy for making our day more interesting by giving lots of explanation, clear instructions and his good humour.
We had an amazing experience with Ken as our guide! He was incredibly kind, always making sure we were comfortable and having a great time. His sense of humor kept us entertained throughout the trip—there was never a dull moment! We started with a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, where we learned about the history of the area and even got to experience the shooting range. After that, we headed to the Mekong Delta, where Ken made sure we had an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed delicious honey tea, listened to a local music concert while tasting fresh tropical fruit, and even went on a beautiful rowing boat tour through the waterways. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and never felt rushed or boring. Ken truly made the trip special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and stress-free tour!
