Únase a un recorrido íntimo por dos viñedos/granjas locales y sus bodegas, guiado por un experto en vinos, y aprenda sobre todo el proceso de elaboración del vino, desde el viñedo hasta la bota. Disfrute probando tres tipos de vino en cada viñedo, mientras aprende más sobre los sabores del vino y cómo degustarlo mejor. Luego ascienda al pico más alto de la región del Algarve, en el sur de Portugal. Deléitese con un almuerzo o cena con vista a la puesta de sol en la costa en un restaurante en la cima de la montaña con algunas de las mejores especialidades de la cocina portuguesa y una vista panorámica del Algarve.

Ubicado en la zona fronteriza norte de Portimão y Alvor. Con la gran montaña de Monchique, que domina la vista cuando estamos en los viñedos, esta gran propiedad también tiene áreas de cultivo de alcornoques, campos de trigo y naranjos. En la familia desde 1865 y productores de uvas desde hace mucho tiempo, esta granja construyó su moderna bodega en 1999 y fue la primera en producir vinos con denominación de origen certificada en el Algarve. En la explanada, en la tienda o en los barriles de roble es visible la tradición de esta finca familiar.
Ubicado al norte de Portimão, ya en el condado de Silves. Es una producción vinícola exclusiva, la que se encuentra más al norte de la región, justo al comienzo de las montañas de Monchique. Propiedad de una pareja portuguesa-francesa que se conoció en Burdeos, donde nació y creció rodeado por la influencia del vino. Se mudaron a la región a principios de siglo para comenzar este proyecto desde cero. En las laderas del río Odelouca Vlley, plantaron su viñedo y construyeron su pequeña pero bien equipada bodega, que también alberga una sala de degustación, barricas y laboratorio.

This tour is a must! From start to finish, Fabio was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating for me and our group. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was very good! The scenery along the way was amazing. The lunch at the top of the mountain was quite an experience! Would def recommend!

Our guide Fabio was very informative before the trip answering my queries promptly . On the the day he was very knowledgeable about the wine making process, Both wineries were quite different from each other . Fabio was helpful, knowledgeable, and comfortable to be around throughout the day. The van is also comfortable and air conditioned. We both get carsick and had no issues even going up and down the mountain. There were two of us, so we did one premium tasting and one regular tasting at each Quinta, which was a fun way to try more of the wines. Driving up to Monchique was very beautiful, and you get to see the cork forest on the way up. We went to O Luar da Foia, where we both tried black pork. This is a LARGE amount of food, so go hungry, because it is delicious! Overall, this was a wonderful experience. Fabio is very patient and personable, and answered all of our questions. The wine and food were delicious. Fabio’s recommendations were great. Don’t skip this!

This is an intimate wine tasting and learning experience that Fabio has curated. We learned so much about the history of Algarve wine production through modern day, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and welcoming spirit of the residents in this region.
