Por siglos, Núremberg fue capital secreta del Sacro Imperio Romano Germano, aquí se realizaban las conocidas Dietas de Núremberg, asambleas donde el emperador del Sacro Imperio se reunía con los príncipes electores. Por esta trascendencia tan crucial fue elegida como centro propagandístico durante el Tercer Reich. Hitler consideraba a Núremberg la heredera de las tradiciones germánicas, la capital de los congresos, queriendo mantener vivo el recuerdo y el legado del poderoso Imperio Germánico de la Edad Media en la estructura nazi. Tal fue su significación que aquí residía uno de los mayores representantes del antisemitismo del régimen, Julius Streicher, el dueño y propulsor del semanario Der Stürmer. La urbe adquirió la titularidad de ciudad alemana por excelencia, siendo presentada como la localidad más leal al régimen de todas.

My guide Fede could not have been better. The tour lasted 3 hours, which went by very quickly. Fede conveys the information in a simple and easy-to-follow manner, as with so many facts, dates, and events, one could leave with their head spinning. But no. I found it very interesting, and any questions from the group were answered. I have learned new things and anecdotes. To give us an idea of what was being discussed, he relied on images that helped to identify figures from National Socialism. I recommend it, both the tour and the guide, without a doubt.
Our guide Federico has been the perfect complement to learn about the history of the Third Reich over three and a half hours through the city center. His knowledge was inexhaustible. We recommend him 100%!

Fede was a fantastic guide. With a wealth of knowledge, he manages to explain why Nuremberg became such an important city during the Third Reich. The only downside: not having more days to continue doing tours with him.
