Vivirás una experiencia considerada única por nadie hasta el momento. Un veneciano lo vive cada día pero sin detenerse donde lo haríamos para descubrir tesoros que la mayoría de turistas nunca verán. Descubriremos secretos y veremos lugares hermosos y escondidos por ejemplo la Casa donde nació Marco Polo o el Santuario Mariano de S. Giovanni Crisostomo con obras invaluables de Giovanni Bellini y Tullio Lombardo Iglesias con instrumentos de uso común hoy en día como el violonchelo pero inventado en Venecia. Naturalmente, Rialto y San Marco no faltarán, pero quedarás muy impresionado por lo que descubrirás en mi recorrido. En Venecia las mujeres se emanciparon y ya en el año 1000 d.C. votaban y por ello se hicieron famosas a partir de ese momento. Y no olvidemos la Venecia libertina. Historias de magia, brujas y fantasmas. No quiero revelar demasiado, pero te sorprenderé con una experiencia que te impulsará a apreciar aún más esta ciudad única de Venecia.

Veremos uno de los puentes más bellos del mundo que, según la leyenda, fue construido con la ayuda del mismísimo Diablo.
Una antigua iglesia construida por el arquitecto Codiussi con la aportación económica de la familia de Marco Polo. En su interior veremos obras de valor incalculable de Giovanni Bellini y sobre todo de Tullio Lombardo.
Visitaremos la casa donde nació el explorador Marco Polo y donde vivió hasta los 12 años aproximadamente, luego con su padre Niccolò y su tío Matteo partir hacia Katai y a su regreso definitivo optó por terminar su vida en Corte. del Milione donde iremos a visitar su segunda casa.
Aquí veremos uno de los campos más grandes de Venecia y uno de los centros culturalmente más importantes. Aquí se produjo un episodio importante que fue la causa de la Guerra contra Padua.
Esta iglesia es única tanto por la riqueza de las orfebrerías como por los tres maestros que pintaron allí: Veronese con Giovanni Bellini y Palma il Giovane.
Única e indescriptible, esta plaza será nuestro último paseo donde podrás admirar la Basílica y el Campanario, pero también el Palacio Ducal y el Puente de los Suspiros. Para concluir el recorrido en el Palacio Carcelario.

The tour guide never showed up! It wasted part of our day and now we’re trying to get a refund. I tried messaging through the Viator app but never got a reply. I finally found a phone number and reached the tour operator.
Super lame. Got notices all day telling me about my appointment showed up 15 minutes ahead of time and nobody showed up for 45 minutes.
We showed up at the meeting point 10 minutes early and saw a tour group, so we approached. We were rudely told that the group was full, and we must be looking for some other tour. We never saw another guide at the meeting point, although we waited more than half an hour. I don't know if that was supposed to be our guide or not, but if it was, he didn't let us join, and if it wasn't, then no guide ever showed up. Either way, we did not get our art & history tour of Venice.
Alessandro was great! His art historian perspective was wonderful to me, as I studied art history in college. His knowledge went beyond what I learned in school. He was entertaining and enjoyable to be with. The tour took 3 hours, which was longer than we expected. There is no place to sit down in Venice!

Tripadvisor is appalling! No fault of the tour guide, but Trip Advisor hadn't told him of our booking! He came asap, but TA hung up on his calls requesting a refund for us. This is the 2nd time this trip we've made bookings through TA and they've failed to notify restaurant/ tour guide. Never using them again!!

Absolutely pleasant tour, full of tales, legends, interesting stories. Very competent and friendly person. We had a beautiful tour through magical Venice and its famous and not-so-famous monuments. Highly recommended.
Alessandro is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide about his work, he manages to infect you and transport you to a legendary Venice. If you are looking for a different tour that allows you to discover the charm of this city and its secret stories, this is the tour for you. I still talk to my students about some anecdotes discovered during this tour!!
