¡Prepárate para un día largo pero increíble!
Nuestro primer destino de hoy es Budva en Montenegro, antes de llegar haremos una parada cerca de Sveti Stefan, históricamente un pueblo de pescadores en una pequeña isla cerca de la costa. Sin embargo, hoy en día ya no es posible visitar la isla, ya que se ha convertido en un exclusivo complejo residencial. Incluso estando de pie en la costa, Sveti Stefan es un espectáculo para los ojos doloridos, vale la pena fotografiarlo.
Conduciremos hacia Budva, un destino turístico popular, famoso por sus playas, naturaleza hermosa y edificios antiguos característicos. La ciudad está separada entre una parte antigua y una nueva. Por un lado, en New Budva, hay muchos edificios modernos, oficinas, centros comerciales, restaurantes y bares.
Old Budva, está el centro histórico y muchos lugares de interés para visitar, como la iglesia de San Iván, la pequeña iglesia de Santa María y el esplendor medieval del casco antiguo, que visitaremos en este recorrido.
Nuestro segundo destino para hoy es Kotor, sitio del patrimonio mundial de la UNESCO. La ciudad es un laberinto de calles estrechas y empedradas que cruzan el casco antiguo. La intención era confundir a los intrusos que venían a saquear el pueblo, mientras que hoy en día caracteriza a la ciudad. Muchos de los edificios e iglesias antiguos tienen pequeñas placas con sus fechas de construcción y uso original.
Visitaremos la iglesia de San Lucas que tiene un gran significado para los lugareños porque representa la unidad para ellos.

The trip was advertised as an 8 to 10 hour tour. First, the actual time was 15 hours. Second, it wasn't a "tour". We just had a "driver"..
Montenegro's coastline is stunning and the old towns in both stops are incredible. Our driver and guide, Klodian was perfect for this very long day over bumpy roads. He tended to our needs and wants on this trip. He was very informative but not overwhelming us with too much information. He is an excellent driver and we felt safe with him. We enjoyed his company. Understand that this is a very long, and bumpy road trip as they are working on roadways. But if you want a chance to visit another country without the drive, then this is the way to go.
Klondike is an excellent guide who did not overload us with information. All of our needs were met and he checked our comfort often. He catered the trip to our wishes and is an extremely safe driver! Montenegro's coastline is beautiful. The old cities in both stops are unbeatable. Be prepared for a long ride, road construction as they build a new road. But enjoy Klodi's company for the long day.
Such a fabulous day trip from Tirana. Budva and Kotor are stunning. Endri was an excellent driver and guide, and a genuinely lovely person to spend time with. It was really interesting to chat with Endri about life in Albania and his own experiences. Endri also went out of his way to accommodate my requests. Based on my experience, I’d thoroughly recommend Endri as well as Choose Balkans as a company - they responded quickly and arrived promptly. A lovely lady from Choose Balkans came with Endri to welcome me which was a nice extra detail; I’m not sure if that was just because I was a solo female traveller but it was a very kind gesture.
We recently took a private day trip from Albania to Montenegro , and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. My boyfriend and I loved every moment of it. A huge part of what made the trip so special was our driver and tour guide, Endri. He was incredibly helpful, informative, and professional, while also being friendly and great fun to spend the day with. He shared so much interesting knowledge about both Albania and Montenegro, which really added depth to the experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves at all times. We would highly recommend this tour company, and especially Endri as a guide. He truly made the day unforgettable!
