The trip is well organized and the guide Tom was super chatty and gave us tons of information. It is hot in the tunnels so be prepared to sweat and get dirty!
Big David is a sympathetic guide. Funny and good information and tips. Recommended
David was our guide and he was amazing. He was so funny but also very informative. The caves were so incredible. David took us to a smaller cave where we had to find our own way it was only 10m so not too long. Definitely pay up for the smaller group it was worth it.
David and Khanh were great! Communication around the organisation was very good. Messages and calls with important information were very clear and made this experience very accessible. The driver is awesome and navigated his way skilfully through traffic. David is very knowledgeable, cracks jokes and comes across as passionate about his job and the history. Guidance during the visit was great! Would recommend highly!!!
Our guide, Tuan was incredible and was able to share his first hand accounts from the battlefield. Highly recommended! Thanks Tuan!
Our guide Phu was excellent - informative, funny and thoughtful. He’s fluent in Cantonese which was great for my parents who are more proficient in Cantonese than English. On the way, there is a stop at a government organised traditional art factory which is worthwhile. On the way back, there is a stop at a restaurant which is clean and reasonably priced. We didn’t eat so the stop was a bit of a waste of time for us but the stop makes sense given the journey time.
The Cu Chi Tunnels Tour is a MUST for everyone visiting Vietnam. If you are given the option, I implore you to book Tuan as your tour guide. Tuan is a veteran of the Vietnam War - he was able to explain his first hand experiences and talk at length and in detail about what the war was really like. We were so lucky to have Tuan take us through the tunnels and recount his story. This was a memorable and important experience.
Tuán was absolutely the best guide we could have asked for. Given he is a veteran, he was extremely precise and detailed in every aspect of the tour. Learnt so much and was definitely an experience of a lifetime. Incredibly funny and generous. I would recommend this exact tour to anyone who is visiting Viet Nam.
It was a tourist experiences, despite that you shouldn’t miss out on it. My tour guide, Mingo, was brilliant. My hostel wasn’t listed as a pick-up point on TripAdvisor, but as soon as Mingo realised it was also in the area, they dropped me off right outside my hostel.
Tuan was a great guide - very knowledgeable and commanding as a war veteran himself. Would highly recommend taking this tour to learn more about the Vietnam War
