We did this tour today and loved it! Atmosphere was great and felt like a true personal tour! The olive oils, cheese, and limoncello were amazing! Must do if in the area! One small note: if staying in massa luberense check with group as you are closer to the location then driving into Sorrento to come back to Massa. Thank you for a great afternoon!!!
Great experience! Food was fantastic and hospitality was even better.
Wow. This tour was just wonderful. The views were absolutely beautiful, the people were so personal and caring, and the food was amazing. Easily an highlight of our time in Europe and could not recommend it more. We originally didn’t book the pizza but added it on at the very end because the tour was so excellent! Exceeded every expectation!
Perfect 😍 You take a few simple ingredients add passion with a beautiful story told by 1 big family ... then you want to stay
This was a lot of fun! We were welcomed warmly by Elsa and Salvatore, who introduced us to their village and large extended family living there. The village was lovely as were the gardens we toured. The olive oil and cheese tastings were fun as was pizza making with Elsa. Overall it was a lovely time, and their entire family is lovely and welcoming!
Wonderful tour of the family’s large lemon orchards, along with other beautiful hydrangeas and smaller fruits and vegetable gardens! We then took the “Mario Cart” up to their cousin’s farm and enjoyed cheesemaking demonstrations and tasting! The view from their property over the Gulf of Naples was breathtaking! Then, we went back down to the original site and enjoyed making our own pizza with the fresh mozzarella. Such fun locals and delicious food!
We have just returned from the most amazing tour with Benedetto and his family. Generations of the same family have farmed here producing Lemon products, olive oil and mozzarella (fiore di latte) From start to finish you are transported from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento to the quiet little village of Schiazzano. Without wanting to spoil the tour and its surprises, you learn about village life and history from local people using local, ancient and organic methods. Learn about growing lemons and olives Sample the fresh produce. Learn about how mozzarella and ricotta are produced and try rhe food Round off the morning by making your own pizza, cooking in the old pizza oven and enjoy with local wine. This is a small group tour so it firsndly and intimate and A LOT of fun. There is also no pressure to buy products as their aim is to highlight the field to fork journey. However, its so delicious I would bet you'll bit at least one thing. Totally worth the money. The gift that keep on giving. Thank you
This was a fun and educational experience. I have two young kids (8 & 11) who also enjoyed it. Such friendly people who genuinely enjoy sharing with you. Highly recommended.
Can’t say enough great things about this family! From getting picked up in the Piaggio cart, to the farm tour, to the cheese and olive oil tasting, to the pizza making, everything was top notch. They couldn’t have been kinder and we recommend 100%!
Incredible experience. The family is so kind and welcoming. This tour is now a core memory of my vacation on the Amalfi coast, and my first trip to Italy. Can Elsa and Benedetto adopt me into the family? To see the process of mozzarella being made was enlightening, and to hear how the family and the village work together is inspiring. The pizza lunch was divertente! Thankful to know that family traditions are being carried on and that I was able to learn from them.
