⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing trip to Waterton Park with Top Choice Tours! Everything was organized to the highest standard, from the comfortable transportation to the well-planned itinerary. The entire experience was smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. A special thanks to our guide, Marshal! He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Throughout the tour, he shared fascinating facts and stories about the places we visited, making the trip not only beautiful but also very informative. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we had such a wonderful time. We highly recommend Top Choice Tours and would definitely travel with them again!
⭐☆☆☆☆ Our experience with this company was extremely disappointing. We ended booking tours with them during our stay in Calgary, and in the end, every single one was cancelled due to what the company described as "technical reasons." It started with our Waterton National Park tour, which was cancelled because of "technical issues." Instead, we were offered a place on another tour, and we accepted in good faith. Unfortunately, that replacement tour was also cancelled, and we were then offered to move back to the original Waterton tour on a different date. By that point, we had reached the end of our vacation and simply could not rearrange our travel plans. After multiple cancellations, changes, and rescheduling attempts, we completely lost confidence that the company would actually deliver the experiences we had booked. While the company repeatedly cited technical reasons, the pattern of cancellations left us wondering whether commercial considerations may have played a role. Regardless of the reason, the result for us was the same: valuable vacation time was lost, and it became impossible to arrange alternative activities at such short notice. Although refunds were offered, they do not compensate for the disappointment, inconvenience, and wasted holiday time caused by these repeated last-minute changes. A vacation has limited time, and reliability is just as important as the quality of the experience itself. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company. We felt that our time and travel plans were not valued, and we would choose a more reliable tour operator in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely regret that we were unable to provide the experience you had planned during your visit to Calgary. Operating small-group tours means there are factors beyond our control that can occasionally make a tour impossible to operate. These include unexpected vehicle technical issues, driver availability, safety concerns, and other operational circumstances. When this happens, we always try to offer alternative dates or tours, and when that is not possible, we provide a full refund. We understand that a refund cannot replace lost vacation time, and we are genuinely sorry that none of the alternative options worked with your travel schedule. While we do everything we can to avoid cancellations, no tour operator can guarantee that every scheduled departure will operate under all circumstances. For travelers who have very limited availability, booking backup activities or flexible alternatives can sometimes help minimize the impact of unexpected changes. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve the reliability of our operations. We wish you all the best in your future travels.
Marshall hosted our tour and was great. He was very friendly, informative and bubble the whole time despite the long drives and weather he didn’t let it affect him. Showed us all the tour spots and gave us great information about them all
Had an excellent day out with just a small group of 8, both tour guides were very friendly and informative. Red Canyon was amazing and we had plenty of time there to walk around it. We had a great picnic at lake Cameron which had stunning views and then on to Prince Wales Hotel and onto Watertown town to explore. Before our return we visited the bison paddock but unfortunately they were all lying down at a fair distance but still an experience to see. We even managed to see some deer up close and some bears playing along the roadside which made our day. Overall it was a fantastic day out, nothing was rushed, would highly recommend. Great value.
