Los humedales de Muthurajawela es uno de los mejores lugares para presenciar tanto la belleza como los beneficios de un ecosistema de humedales. Además de sus propiedades de biodiversidad, la gran extensión de manglares y otra vegetación hace que el humedal sea un sumidero de carbono ideal que ayuda a enfriar el clima. Este pantano es notable por su ecosistema único y muy diverso y está catalogado como uno de los 12 humedales prioritarios de Sri Lanka que se cree que se originaron hace unos 7.000 años. Harás un paseo en bote de dos horas en este fascinante humedal.

07.00 AM - Nuestro conductor de TUK TUK lo recibirá y lo recogerá y lo llevará a los humedales de Muthurajawela. 08.00 AM - Al llegar al punto de partida, nuestro guía le dará una breve introducción sobre el recorrido en barco y los requisitos de seguridad. A partir de entonces, comenzará su viaje en bote con la intención de ver tantas aves como pueda. Los humedales de Muthurajawela albergan más de 192 especies distintas de flora y 209 especies distintas de fauna, incluido el loris delgado, así como otras 102 especies de aves. Se ha demostrado que algunas de las especies identificadas son autóctonas de este hermoso pantano. 10.00 AM - Después de presenciar uno de los humedales prioritarios en Sri Lanka, nuestro conductor TUK TUK lo llevará de regreso a su hotel. 11:00 AM - Lo dejarán en su hotel en Colombo / Negombo.

A perfect trip for nature lovers. We did the early start at 08.00 which was best for the wildlife, and were lucky to have the guide who was great at spotting, and the boat to ourselves. Very enjoyable, loads of photo opportunities, and excellent information. The centre would benefit from some more up to date pictures of the flora & fauna but this did not detract from our enjoyment

Indika was a fabulous driver. Very thoughtful and pointed out sights.The experience itself was excellent. We saw lots of birds and our boat driver knew the waterways and wildlife really well
It was a very enjoyable boat ride and we saw many different birds as well as monitor lizards. The tour operator was very organised and communicated well to ensure pick up details etc.

Excellent tour. Friendly staff and the guide was very knowledgeable about history of the area, the wildlife and the fauna and taught us a lot. The pick-up and drop-off from our hotel in Negombo was smooth. The driver bought us refeshments when headed to the tour and on the way back took us to stops such as a coffee shop. We went in the morning after a very rainy day and because of this we saw dozens of water monitor lizards and various birds. Highly recommended.
Vidu was my driver and he was great, he went above and beyond and was really patient and friendly. The trip was great especially the beach which we had to go through the forest.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about birds and the environment. He showed us many different types of birds, very friendly and approachable, he even brought fresh fruit for a snack. It was an amazing experience.
