El Templo Budista Jogyesa es uno de los hitos más importantes del budismo coreano, establecido por primera vez en 1935. El templo se encuentra en el centro de Seúl y está adornado por un antiguo pino blanco. Hay algunos pasos importantes para entrar al templo. Primero, debes pasar por “Iljum”, que es la puerta de un pilar. El “Iljumun” simboliza la división entre el mundo de los vivos y el del santo mundo de Buda. Tendrás una hermosa experiencia espiritual y podrás admirar las espléndidas estatuas doradas.
Ceremonia de cambio de guardia: presencia una espectacular tradición coreana Verás la ceremonia meticulosamente coreografiada que tiene lugar frente a la Puerta de Gwanghwamun. Esta tradición se originó durante la dinastía Joseon y la ciudad decidió traerla de vuelta para su recreación en 1996. Los soldados visten coloridos uniformes azules y rojos y patrullan con gracia las puertas del palacio en protección del rey. La tradición es muy elegante y simplemente hermoso de ver! Palacio de Gyeongbok (excepto los martes): vive como un rey El siguiente en nuestro tour por la ciudad de Seúl es el Palacio Gyeongbokgung. Esta fue la casa principal de la dinastía Joseon construida en 1395. Este es un edificio impresionante con 7.700 habitaciones! El Museo del Palacio Nacional de Corea se estableció inicialmente como “Museo Imperial Coreano” en 1908; sin embargo, fue renombrado y reubicado muchas veces a lo largo de su historia. Hoy en día el museo alberga aproximadamente 45.000 artefactos y tesoros reales de los palacios de la dinastía Joseon y el Imperio coreano. Our guide (Alice) was amazing, and she showed us some interesting sites. I really loved the changing of the guard ceremony, the palace grounds, and the ginseng museum (bring your wallet if you want to buy premium quality ginseng products). The driver was also great, because he had to deal with crazy traffic and street closures due to a protest going on that day. We did the half day tour, but there were others who did the full day tour, so we did not return to our meeting point.
